Die Knaben sehen aus wie weiße Fledermäuse. (Das sind doch keine Engelsflügel) Und die Pamina...Na ja, dieses zu weite Samtkleid und der Haarschnitt...Diese Kostümverfehlungen stehen ganz eindeutig im Kontrast zur sehr guten gesanglichen Darbietung...Hier gefallen mir alle 4 Sänger.

@KaiPodack Aurelius Sängerknabe ? Ich stelle immer wieder fest, welch merkwürdige Fantasien die Regisseure der Zauberflöte-Aufführungen doch walten lassen, wenn es um die Kostüme der drei Knaben geht...:( Dazu habe ich Beispiele aus Hamburg und Pforzheim auf meinem channel.

Übrigens habe ich noch ein Weihnachtskonzert aus einer TV-Sendung von Euch irgendwo auf einer VHS....:)

The costume department budget was quite small to be sure. But no costume would mean we could not hear the excellent singing (even if they aren't Tölzer!). Besides, these ridiculous outfits give us something to complain about - the singing is really good - congrats to gustavman99 (below) !!!

Why does the chubby boy have on a Tshirt:)... they should have placed him in the middle for balance. Otherwise it sounds fine.

this is the most beautiful scene in the entire opera. Alas, in this version it was slightly ruined because Pamina sang "Du also bist mein Braütigam" not dramatically enough... I think the other version here on youtube is better.
