Splitscreen can reduce connection speeds and with 60 player onlines that will probably be to risky. On the other hand the online co-op online might. There's no reason that couldn't except it possibly detracts from the experience... Although I don't see how that's Insomniac's place to decide.
No. They changed voice actors. Seriously for all I know it was somone in Insomniac games because Hale only had like 3 lines in R1 but this time he has several in the first cutscene
