  • My old Roommate just sent to me. We used to blow peoples minds with this album on the Klipschorns. I still have it in mint condition and the CD. Find and Play the last song on this side "Ain't No Amercan Starship". Literally one of the best guitar solos ever played!! (not the 7" EP version) You will not EVER be able to pick out the lyrics being repeated during this solo though! hahahaha " That's It! --" - crank it up to 11 and enjoy that one!! wondering how you ever missed a classic like that!

  • Bloody brilliant. I can't imagine something like this entering the charts now.

  • I wish I could find this to download!!!! My sister can still recite the Maori bit!!!!!

  • The Lone Ranger" was first released as a single in 1976. After it was chosen as Tony Blackburn's "Record of the Week" (the nationwide morning radio show with the highest ratings in the UK at the time), it was banned - some fragments of lyrics were deemed to have "drug" and "homosexual" references. The BBC stopped playing the record and it failed to chart as a result

  • possibility of this movie being filmed in, small town, bisbee arizona?

  • "Maybe masked man he a poofter,

Try it on with surly Tonto.

Let me say that Mr lawman,

    Tonto doesn't mind."

    Classic!

  • Cool song - a featured track on the soundtrack of the Joan Collins' movie, "The Bitch." Thank you for posting this 76/79 classic dance native American/Maori/English jam. DAVEDJ

  • Unnnh... this good smoke, kemo sabe... your head look plenty funny... you try...

  • Absolute classic. This must be one of the cleverest pop songs of all time. I love the lyrics, the bass, and the jazzy guitar. Wonderful! Thanks for posting.

  • classic

  • absolutely 100% originally released in 1976, on electric records. re- released in uk in 79 due to kenny everett's tv show and the fact he probably hammered it on his radio 1 show for ages.

  • There is absolutely no way this was 1976. I remember this time only too well. I was working in my first job and I was about 15. This was either 1978 or 1979.

  • great. now i will always remember the lone ranger as a weed-smoking crack whore with an ethnic boyfriend.

  • So many fantastic memories come flooding back with both the song and the video. I can't believe I got up at 4am JUST to look this up on YouTube. Napoleon XIV next. Thank you :)

  • Blimey - I was 15 and loved this album - cant believe its found its way to youtube...

  • this brings back memories lol i have this still on 12 inch clear vinyl. A classic
