I've been listening to this album for well over 30 years and it's still one of my favorites...wore out my vinyl lp too. One of the greatest in any genre.
This is a classic album by every measure; filled with grace and tone. Adderley's individual rendering of Corcovado and Clouds (on either of the alternate takes of these two songs) is haunting; and I believe this to be one of the best Jazz Samba albums to have ever been made during the height of the Jazz Samba craze. I wore it out on LP, and jumped for joy when it was released on CD.
