Is she alive yet? I hope she is. I know if my boyfriend went in a coma, I would be there for him everyday. Especially if he could still cry, open his eyes and smile.
Yes this is a very touching story. But this is why i have written in my will, and other documents. That if I ever come to something such as this, where my chances grow very slim, to pull the plug. Well thats if im on lifesupport. But if its a coma no more then a few months. I would never want my family or partner to have to go through something like this. I would not want to go through something like this. It just spreads the pain out and will make it that much harder.
@bobby472 By "partner" do you mean spouse? The only partnership that God ordains is marriage, for life, between one man and one woman. This is clear & simple from God's word. Anyway, while I can appreciate you not wanting your loved ones or family to "go through something like this," if it ever happened to my wife, it would be all I care to do. My vow was for better or worse, sickness or health, till death do us part. Coma or not, she's my wife and there is no other.

Wow very impressive. This is when marriage vows are really tested. I'm not sure I could show such devotion.
