I like mac 4 build quality, OS, and yes, the fact it has an apple on it. I like pc for it's diversity, affordability, and compatibility. Mac is better if you have the money and want an out-of-the-box easy to use machine. PC is better if you want serious choice (specs, machine format) and compatibility. I'm a mac, a PC & a person!

I only run osx86 for fun and to see how far it can be pushed in terms of being a mac. I own a g4 and my parents own a 24" iMac which is what I am typing on right now. Sweet.
it is a way to install osx on x86 processors.... those would be intel processors since intel invented the i286, i386, i486, and then pentium. all processors since the 286 (which came out 20 years ago) have been called x86 as a family of processors. hence the name x86 project (a project to install the OS on x86 class processors)
that is NOT an easy thing to do btw. it is for people who really know what they are doing.

it is a way to install osx on x86 processors.... those would be intel processors since intel invented the i286, i386, i486, and then pentium. all processors since the 286 (which came out 20 years ago) have been called x86 as a family of processors. hence the name x86 project (a project to install the OS on x86 class processors)
that is NOT an easy thing to do btw. it is for people who really know what they are doing.
