Wow, I haven't seen that movie in so long lol. I didn't think this game existed. And when I saw this video I kept on thinking of the movie "Critters" instead lol.
The wierd thing is that Nintendo never did a Gremlins 1, only the 2nd one.
For years when i was a kid i was looking for the first game everywhere, not becouse i only thought it had to be a 1st one but my friend told be he played it once.
Damn that bastard lied to me cos there are no Gremlins 1 for the Nes.
It's also wierd that they made a goonies 2 for the nes when the film was never made, but they didn't make a goonies 1 as far as I know. Now thats messed up lol.
This game is not that easy, it looks simple but it can be a pain sometimes.
I always had trouble with the final boss when i was a kid, especially with no weapon upgrade, but i did managed to finish the game many times...maybe becouse i loved Gremlins so much hehe.
You should try this game out, i know you can beat 2-2 pretty easy, do like me and practice as much as you can.

I watched Gremlins 2 after doing this speedrun, its a good movie...i hope they make a 3rd one.
The electric gremlin is rough, i remember it being hard to beat him too when i was a kid, especially with no weapon upgrade.

Gremlins 2 for Game Boy (original right?? Not color) is a very addictive and fun game, also a rare one for GB.

Pretty neat run, I really didn't expect you to go through this game. Taking damage over those gaps to land on platforms was a really neat technique.
...Goddamn those gremlins look creepy in 8-bit. Watching them melt is even creepier. Reminds me of Sweet Home.

I did this speedrun in one day, i had it in mind for a while but didn´t record it until now.
Sure this run can be done a little bit faster, i think the world record time is in 7:05, so their are still things that can be improved.
Still im quite satisfied with this one.
Taking damage on platforms are a quick way to avoid stopping or taking another way around.
Haha yeah creepy gremlins, esspecially the end scene where they melt.
