You got the tab and you share...non egotistical guitarist,.refreshing.This is spot on by any ear, great cover on that nylon strung, good vibrato, feeling.
When I need my Dylan cover fix I now know where to go! Hope you play prof. because you play and sing well. You got a great sounding guitar...don't give it up. Is it a Martin? Great job on this one. Believe it or not I have the original Columbia 45 rpm record of this one (it's on back of mixed up confused) but I've never listened to it. Now I will.
Really nice picking on a beautifull open D tuning. I like it so much. I am trying to play it. For the chords I see enough to play but I am need some advises for the picking. A video could be a quick answer. If not don't worry.
Beautiful re-creation of a favorite Dylan masterpiece... both the playing and the singing are extremely authentic. Captures the early '60s feel perfectly.
This is exactly how I want to play it. Could you teach it? No lesson on YouTube plays it like you, which is exactly like bob Dylan. Could you at least post the chords and picking pattern?
hey mate jus listened to few of your covers of bob dylans and there all spot on just wondering were you get your tabs form and if you can send me a link.
Very nice..2 of my all-time favorites Corrina and North Country. May I ask what kind of guitar you're playing? And are those steel or gut strings? Thanks...
Cheers dino52047. Its a Yamaha classical guitar with nylon wound and nylon strings. I usually play this guitar when I'm using alternative tunings. The strings never break. It's a steel string Yamaha I play in North Country.
Just popped along here from "Don't Think Twice" and now I know I've struck gold for sure. For 46 years this Dylan classic has been going round my head and I knew all those years ago I just had to learn it. Now I can thanks to you; this is superb my friend..... I'm a fan
Thanks for the comments Lowdenjim. It's good to hear from people that they're using my videos to learn tunes. If you didn't already know, it's in open D (DADF#AD)
Yes I do - an old original George Lowden hand-built job from his early days in Bangor; it's a bit scratched now but plays well enough - you can check it out on my other videos.
wicked fingerpicker. your vid helped me learn which will , and im gonna use this video to learn this one as well . thanks and keep up the good tunes !
Checking out all your posts. This is also excellent. You have a metronomic sense of timing and effortless pacing. Very relaxed and natural. Also you are spot on with the high notes (please come home) You have to be a session musician - if not you should be.
As usual very good playing, but above all very instructive with excellent view of whats happening on the guitar with both hands. Saw other commenters asking for tabs but dont understand why, watching this vid is a much more effective way of learning the piece than struggling with some boring and often poorly assembled tab.
I agree about the benefit of learning from tabs. They are not always correct, although I find that tabs can be useful for finding out if there is an alternative tuning being used. It can save a lot of confusion (if the info is correct).
Wow, nice work, this is one of my favorite dylan songs!! Ive been wanting to learn this song for a long time but i cannot find tabs anywhere. Did you use any specific tabs off the internet?
Wow, this is fantastic. Yours is definitely the best cover of this song I've seen on youtube, incredible work. I actually think you did better harp work on this than Dylan himself did on the album version. Also, is the guitar arrangement your own? I thought it was really impressive, seeing as you're essentially playing two guitar parts at the same time.
Greetings from Amsterdam, thanks for brightening my day a bit!
Great work on guitar and harp. I'm starting with harmonica since 2 weeks and your videos will help, especially with an A key harp like yours on it.*****
