When we recite the Creed each week, how many of us really think, "Wow! I am pledging my belief in God and in His Church!"
We are united, or should be, in our beliefs and sometimes we need to be reminded of what obligations these beliefs bring. Thank you for tweaking our consciences each week and feeding us with the heavenly food of God's Word.
Father Jesus feed those gathered earthly food to show his caring. You feed us with the food for eternal life, The Word. You are so right in what it means to be a Christian. It is a shame that a lot of priest shy away from telling it like it is. We are our brother's keepers and we need to show the world daily we are Christians by the way we act. You have reminded us often we need by actions to take the Word to community. I wonder how many are listening?
