It sounds like Charles was letting Di know before marriage the way things would be & Di gave an OK. So they both went into marriage w/an understanding that is was a business arrangement. So I don`t think this could be called a "betrayal of Di" since she had affairs too. So it can`t be the affair that bothered Di. It had to be something else.
