Just finish watching Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I got to say is a very good movie. The writer of the movie did of an awesome job. i loved the references to the old series, like the ship being called icarus and the re-tooling of some of the lines. one everyone forgot was when caesar was riding the horse on the bridge- that was an allusion to "conquest", when caesar is a horse-riding ape in a circus. awesome.

people forget that this is a reboot. thus, it is using the idea of the prior series and making a new series with an alteration of that idea. so the haters need to realize the originality of this one and appreciate it.

The romance is fucked up but know that the movie wasn't really about the doctor, it was about Ceaser and the apes.

The CGI effects make it look better because the more realistic movements and such and also had a good story starting from when Ceaser attacked that guy who was picking on the old man (best scene in move)
