Is that tire smoke coming into the cabin at about 0:37 from the cornering Gs or maybe something else? Wow! I wonder what it looked like from the outside view.

Good eye! Yes, it's tire smoke. There was interference between the chassis and this new tire that we didn't notice.  I just kept hoping it wouldn't cut down the tire. At those speeds it would really hurt.

Brake-in to the fifth corner after entering the infield (the corner after the chicane) looks like it would be scary to learn on the first time out on the track. Setup on entry forces you to be directly on the edge of the track while turning on the brakes. :P

Just an artifact in the recording. You can see the video noise at the same point as well. We need a solid state video recorder, not this old fashioned video tape technology!
