Ry Cooder, you either love him or hate him, no inbetween, I really love his arrangement of this Robert Johnson classic, as for those hooked on the more traditional version (Cream, Clapton,etc.) give this smoking puppy a little time meaning a few repeated listenings, no doubt in my mind IT WILL GROW ON YOU! i totally disagree... this is one of my favourite recordings ever. Keltner on drums sounds fantastic.. creative and amazing groove. The BVs are tight and sound great. The whole thing has this great sense of abandon. Fantastic.
