  • I can't find this song on my Plastic Ono Band album. You sure it's on there?

  • @TheVasicist No, it's not on that album. It was released as a single, but it wasn't put on an album until the Shaved Fish compilation in '75. I'm guessing it's been included on other Lennon greatest-hits albums since then.

  • Thanks for posting. We just decided to do this song and this made it so easy. And yeah, nice guitar too.

  • soo good dude

  • Is Asome Brother

  • Sorry, I meant in the closest CITY to me, Lol

  • wat kind of amp

  • mind breakin down the riff brother?

  • Spot on! Nice playing, man.

  • Is that a Gretsch G5120?

  • @sirmelancholia Yes.

  • @privettricker Nice guitar fella, Ive got a beautiful Gretsch Historic Series acoustic guitar ; it's my favourite acoustic of mine, although it was not very expensive ( £330 in 2000) but rare to see where I come from, although in the closest to me they have a shop with many Gretsch electric like yours, or semi - acoustic are they ?

  • @privettricker how much did it cost ?

  • Sound great. Love the guitar...sounds like a perfect match for this stellar tune.

  • Ive always wanted to learn how to play this, just never got round to it... but doesnt Clapton play lead on this?

  • @hendrix950 Only on the Rock n' Roll Circus version. Clapton plays lead on While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

  • @privettricker My understanding was he played with the Dirty Mac at the Rock n' Roll Circus, that performance is one of my favorites but i thought he played on this also I think were both a little confused

  • @hendrix950 D'oh! I thought you were commenting on my video for Yer Blues! Sorry. And I think you're right, Clapton played on this.

  • @privettricker Yep, both John and Eric play guitar on this song.

  • @hendrix950 haha I had a hunch... : )

  • Terrific. You always get a great tone from your guitars. Of course, it mainly comes from the playing, not the instrument.

  • Excellent

  • wooow AMAZING

  • Love it! Well played....
