that guy puts some odd creepy vibes....hope he can now manage interviews better because those poor girls had to put up with such unprofessional reporting
why exactly did the guy hold the mic towards the chick he liked? he was like "TALK, NOW!" -- ohh wait, i forgot to ask a question. Nvm -- Smile and walk away. Jokers :)
@spizec apparently they are...the same way they made the nintendo 3ds...im not sure exactly how theyll make it hd quality but iv seen a few reviews about 3dtv's without the glasses (mind you the glasses alone cost between $130-$250) each.
The 3D function will be able to turn on and off, no chanals that i know broadcast in 3D anyways and unless you only want to watch spy kids 3 and avatar, it is pretty much useless. I support it very much though and i think it's really cool. Fucking cool with games in the future, cant wait!!
They launched their real 3D TV(without the need for the dumb glasses) in 2010. The other comanies are trying to compete. Their using the 3D glasses because Philips is too good for them and so they don't know how the Philips 3D technology works.
Philips is, has been and always will be the best in displays. & Philips colour is, has been and always will be100% natural.
Their brightness is always balanced perfectly across the whole screen & all the rest.
@BUBLOOGABLOO I don't think it is possible to do "real" 3D without the glasses. If it were a possibility Im sure movie theatres would be first to have that technology.
They have a great history connected to TV's. You can also check out their website. I've also favourited one of their videos that talk about it.
I'm not sure if they'll allow these TVs in the United States or Britain etc because of issues like other companies getting out of business due to PHILIPS selling out all their TVs and the rest crying. It's connected to the law of the country and the rest bla bla bla.
Actually,. Disney has one but you have to be like 8 inch from the screen. The attraction is called [Soarin'] at Disney World Resort. I went there with family and it's much better than 3D at the movie theatre! But yeah no TV's can accomplish it yet..
why did he point the mic at the other girl? he didnt even question her LOL so she just smiles. I would have been like so ladies do i have a chance at all? Where would i fall from a 1-10 scale oh and im just wondering by the way..i already have a hot girlfriend....
see i can not be asked to always put on glasses when i watch/play on the t.v, and if they get lost or something you have to go spend more money on them, :S shame really now smelly tellie i would love to own
think about it. as soon as (if) 3d becomes standard, different styles of glasses will explode out of companies. finding a comfortable pair that also doubles as a fashionable pair isn't too much of a far fetched idea.; kinda like the MP3 and following all the accommodation peripherals.
I just saw a demonstration of this and was not impressed. Panasonic had their 18-wheeler truck in town with a theater inside. Although the image looked 3D with depth, it still does not compare to real life depth-of-vision. Something just didn't look right. Plus they had a crappy Panasonic surround sound speaker system turned up too loud. The speakers were distorting, and the subwoofers were bottoming out. Again...unimpressed.
About half the population wears corrective prescription glasses to see properly, including most of my family. Are these people expected to wear two pairs of glasses to watch this 3D TV? EPIC FAIL.
Until there is holographic TV or something which does not need these 'special' shutter glasses, which are just horrible. IMO 3D TV will stay a gimmick.
kinda a novelty to me even, HD they have yet to use it for other than the upping the rez even though it can do more like letting you access stats for sports on the fly looking up player data and shit like that.
I'm thinking further ahead - I'm looking forward to HD holographic technology, where 3D HD images will ACTUALLY BE in your living room. Watching a 3D movie on a 50" TV from 15 feet away with annoying glasses on doesn't really turn me on. You still won't "be in the movie" like they're purporting - unless you watch the movie in 3D imax on a 6 story high screen, you'll still just be watching 3D on a very small scale, and won't be immersed in anything.
no man 3d tv will come in like 3 years or so i went to buy a mitsubitchi plasma a few months ago and it said that it could be upgraded and when i presed it said 3d

Philips make better TV's.

There are no 3DHDTVs out yet You're on crack.
TheHaloChief117 1 year ago
Philips released theirs this year. For some reason they never said anything about it in Britain or America and I'm not sure where else.
I don't even know which country they've released these TV's in, but if they're not publicising it enough then they're going nowhere.
They use some technology developed by Philips themself and you don't need glasses to see the 3D effect.
BUBLOOGABLOO 1 year ago
You're killing me. I don't see Philips being talked about highly in videophile and home theater circles.

Well ask Philips. They've DONE IT!
They have a great history connected to TV's. You can also check out their website. I've also favourited one of their videos that talk about it.

But they still remain the best for displays.
