What's the spec on a stock probe.

What kind of mods did you do to it?

My brother almost got a 1999 or 2000 4 cyl. Mazda. That's the cousin of the probe.

I gotta question, how can you visually tell by just poppin the hood the difference between a KLZE and KLDE

@sicknizz yep just the intake size and some times valve cover but there is kl31 stamp on the heads ..the only real way to see if its a full ze is to pop out the valve cover then see if there is a kl31 stamped on the cams

@sicknizz yes to a point, a klze has a mazda valve cover (unless swaped) and a straight neck intake mani, a couple of other diferences too.

KLZE motor is the best performance upgrade u can do for a probe. I just read ur mods and I would love to have a run with u just to see how it would go with my 2000 GSR. My DC2 got Skunk2 intake manifold, valves, springs ,retainers, cam gears, cam shafts, short throw shifter (motor fully rebuild), megapower header, megapower catback exhaust all listed above is Skunk2. Type r tranny, Hondata ECU. Ain't it fun smoking a boosted car with a N/A... Lol good looks on the Probe

@lilmiss2sweet gsr are ok in the light shells but put them in a probe and you're not going anywhere. slap the klde or klze in a gsr shell and you have an easy 14 second stock car. lol

Stock probe has a KLDE V6. It's basically a 160hp Mazda V6. The KLZE is the japan only version of this engine that makes 40-50 more hp stock.
