Who here questions the "Get Money Out" amendment? Ratigan proposes that no money can be contributed to candidate but what he fails to realize is that that means only the very wealthy will be able to run for office. And if the media wanted to show biased for a candidate (always happens), that'd be fine bc its free. The banks and corps are not the cause of our problems, they are merely an opportunistic infection in a self inflicted injury. The banks and corps would not consider taking control of a system that did not exert control over it's citizens, as it would not offer any monetary advantage. The fact that we have through the years given government more and more power over us and our actions, for some well intentioned myth of safety or the common good, is the ultimate cause of our dilemma today.

Companies that sell goods to us must hold political positions that protect every day people. Have a list of companies that protect us from Wall Street and the banks. Simply buy products from companies who only contribute to politicians that refuse money from Wall Street, banks, other groups that shove democracy out of the way.
