  • Big long vid, conclusion: "Separate money & state like we separate Church & State" "let the crowd determine the mechanics of how it's done" Crowd consists of street people and staving college kids. They say just take what we want by force. oh look!! It's pre-nazi germany all over again!!! All Occupy needs is a leader to emerge. Oh wait, nm "We choose crap over death" So the democrats will take the occupy lead by, you guessed it! Socialism! Take from one class and give to another!

  • @Faxxer248 ...wtf you makes you better then the man next to you.....

  • I hate to ask some thing off topic, I would like us the people ask Dylan host a be-bate 2012. Thanks guys

  • This guy is a master at publicity stunts. # opportunistic.

  • @tresdizz please justify why our trade deficit with china is 10 to 1.

Please justify why we give foreign aid to Israel that basically gives them a credit to buy our military weaponry, and the parts for thoes weapons to conduct maintenence are made in China so half of the aid money "in cash" goes to China.

Please justify why gas prices went up in the United States but not in Australia. Due to the fact that Australia "deflated" their currency to compensate but we didnt***.

  • @tresdizz Please justify why after a closed door meeting with the President and the insurance companies their stocks went yup 15% then all of a sudden as a "condition of citizenship" we are required to give one of thoes health insurance companies our buisness.

Please justify why we created a housing bubble?

Please justify why we didnt let it fully crash? Please justify why we didnt let the auto industry fail? Please justify why we didnt let the banking system fail?

  • does this separation include Unions?

  • @PoliticalSmackdown Public ones i'd say...

  • We have a year, and I'll be on board with Dylan & Jimmy Williams as soon as Get The Money Out starts rolling strong. I'm currently with, and recommend the interested join Move To Amend, a group which is currently organizing overturn the "Citizens United" ruling by the Supreme Court, which essentially defines corporations as people, and allowing them to toss billions at their candidates in secrecy, & zero accountability. The big protest is Jan. 21st, 2012, at any Federal court near you! Be there!

  • He's fuckable.That's all.

  • SEPARATE BUSINESS AND STATE!... next years most popular bumper sticker, t-shirt, and protest sign.

  • Occupy Myrtle Beach is listening.

  • The fact that this has 6 dislikes makes me believe that there is something right about what he is saying. Occupy Riverside is listening.

  • So encouraging a member of the mainstream media is backing the Occupy Movement like this.

  • Separate business and state !

    As simple as it gets!

  • this guy feels it coming, can you feel it ? Rise above ... the revolution is near can you feel it ?!!! The energy is powerful, contribute to it .... and soon we can once and for all unite as one race in harmony without fear... and then we can explore space together..... Vote Ron paul.

  • There is no salvation in the current political, social and economic structures and processes that are currently implemented. The only thing that solves problems regarding human needs are technical in nature. I advocate a resource based economy and encourage all occupiers to look into this and similar solutions.

  • Vote out all career politicians, anyone in office longer than 2 terms Senate or 4 terms House.

  • I'm in love with him. Genius.

  • No mas Dylan Ratigan.

  • IS THIS THE BEGINNING OF THE AMERICAN SPRING?

  • @autobodybasics No brother this is The American Autumn!!!

  • "separation of business and state" ...

  • I was at OWS the night Dylan took to the soapbox in this video, but I did not hear his interview. Seriously my new favorite person. This man speaks the truth and lays it all out, no holds barred.

  • "What is this about?" <--- Is a question to the REPUBLICANS or those following the Republican party line.

  • 911 a inside job!!!!!! wake up stupid americans and fuck the us military baby killers.

  • Why is everyone out there in internet asking. Whats this all about? It's fuckin obvious. This video alone crystallises the message down to a point you would have to be an utter moron not to get it. I get it. Do you?

  • @harrypalms1112 Hear freakin' hear. The people still saying this seem to willfully be remaining ignorant.

  • This movement gives me hope. It's beautiful.

  • Right on.

  • There is no help for the American political system! It is corrupt to the very bone. All politicians are bought and paid for - They are traitors and are torturing, killing, and robbing people of their human right to be free and live in dignity , expressing their will through an honest governing system, and that is not the present one. As Chinese dynasties lasted for about a maximum of 300 years and then had to be replaced by a new one because of incremental corruption, so too USA...

  • sorry america, but this guy sounds like every other bullshit politician or media hack before an election. he's 'getting in early'. follow your heart, not this guy - for the love of God, good luck to you all. the rest of World is waiting for you :)

  • What is this about? The circulation of capital(money)! The very thing that some of the 1 % want to hoard! The hoarding of wealth is something which has lead to the destruction of the Temple by the Babylonians(Ezekiel ch. 18 vrs 5 - 13). Adam Smith has even said taxes helps the capital(money) to circulate...this happened during the late 30's for the U.S. to recover from the GREAT DEPRESSION! Progressive tax policy will help the U.S. economy and then the global economy.

    We need CONSTITUTIONALISM

  • why are you repeating everything he is saying?!

  • @thebachu786 so the crowd can amplify his voice. They don't have a sound system.

  • Who here questions the "Get Money Out" amendment? Ratigan proposes that no money can be contributed to candidate but what he fails to realize is that that means only the very wealthy will be able to run for office. And if the media wanted to show biased for a candidate (always happens), that'd be fine bc its free. Its a big power grab and US media is reaching; Ratigan is a shill for doesn't care about the people, he cares about the money and power he'll get from propping up candidates thru MSNBC

  • @tek510- Campaigns will be publicly (tax-payer) funded - which will be a tiny price to pay to end the multi-trillion dollar transfer of wealth from the 99% to the 1%.

  • @AlisonChaynz Yes I've heard that but who controls which candidate's campaign gets funded? The politicians that are already in power, and most of them are bought so there is no pretty ending. The media is monopolized by the corporate elite; the campaign contribution is in the hands of the government. How do you see an end to the transfer of wealth? I see the ultimate designed system where power and wealth is in the hands of those who can afford it. This is NO SOLUTION. Its the apocalypse

  • The banks and corps are not the cause of our problems, they are merely an opportunistic infection in a self inflicted injury. The banks and corps would not consider taking control of a system that did not exert control over it's citizens, as it would not offer any monetary advantage. The fact that we have through the years given government more and more power over us and our actions, for some well intentioned myth of safety or the common good, is the ultimate cause of our dilemma today.

  • @NewAmericaNow Afuckingmen

  • @NewAmericaNow We didn't have the power to communicate like before. That's how government came to expand. People were sleepwalking. The internet woke us up.

  • @TubingWithMyGnomies Government expanded because people wanted government to solve problems we should have been doing. However, a government that can give you everything is a government that can take it all away.

  • @NewAmericaNow Government is not the problem, big corporations are.

  • @jippo135 Corporations only do what governments want them to do or else. Corporations don't send armed men after you. If the government wanted to lock up the CEO of any bank or Corporation they would just do it because only government has the monopoly on force. They don't even need a reason because they would manufacture it or just make someone disappear. Look at Qaddafi. Don't be naive.

  • Wish they didnt chant this vid could be like 60 seconds.... dont have the patience to wait for the chanting and pauses to stop.. Really Annoying.. To bad I would like to hear what he has to say. Go Ron Paul!

  • “Fascism is capitalism plus murder.” Upton Sinclair

  • “Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power” Benito Mussolini

  • “Fascism is capitalism in decay” Vladimir Lenin

  • @TH3D0NG3R How can you condemn these people as idiots if you don't even know what the movement is about? You should form your own opinions based on information instead of receiving them from conservative mouthpieces.

That said, everybody has their own reason for coming out. My perception of Occupy Wall Street is that it's a populist outcry against gross economic inequality and a political system that has been completely bought off by special interests. Kooks aside, it's a mainstream message.

  • Does anyone know what these people are trying to accomplish?

    Communism? Socialism?

Half of these idiots out here don't know why the hell they are here beside to part of something.

  • Does anyone know what these people are trying to accomplish? Communism? Socialism?

Half of these idiots out here don't know why the hell they are here beside to part of something.

  • He should run for office.

  • @ma1achite

    you're an idiot

  • Beware, This man is an opportunist..

  • You know its impossible, right? Money and Politics go hand in hand like Chocolate and Peanut Butter. Getting rid of money would be like trying to get rid of hate for anything.

  • He is correct. Get the money out of politics. The fine points can be debated later but that is the major priority and I think all decent people can agree on that. Our entire government is bought and paid for. AIPAC is a huge problem.

  • This is incredibly important and THANK YOU Dylan for your courage, passion, commitment and perseverance. It's time to GET MONEY OUT of politics. Sign the Get Money Out petition for a constitutional amendment and get the money out of US politics.

  • we are the change and i m looking at you in the same way the rest of this world is looking at us in America - because you have ruined also the rest of the world..That's why we are with you..everywhere and you better sense that from all sides !!! this thing is much larger than what you appear to comprehend at this stage. go listen to The Galactic Federation.. WE HAVE THE ENTIRE GALAXY WITH US !

  • Bunch of socialists. The Tulsa occupation has been hijacked by a socialist agenda of nationalizing by force banks and corporations. This is corporatism. Scumbags.

  • Interesting.

  • Ounce they open the constitution its over

  • go Dylan!

  • go Dylan!

  • Beautiful.

  • The problem is, the reason 94% of the time the most money wins is because the majority vote for whomever they see on TV the most. They aren't searching for news. They aren't researching the issues. They are believing what they want to believe. In this environment, how do we wake them up, to get politicians in place that will vote on an amendment that would level the playing field?

  • @PressForFreedom No regulations on corporations results in bought government...Paul's policies will ultimately result in an even more brutal plutocracy than we already have....He opposes any attempt to curb corporate control of our politics

Ron Paul wants an America where business IS the state

  • @antipyrene

dude buisness is the state now, collectivism will kill us all, enough with the ignorant hippie socialism already

  • @SlingSalsa Enough with the ignorant Paulbot babble, we know what happens when government fails to regulate corporations, it was called the Gilded Age...this mess was caused by conservative economic and electoral policies that have had free rein for the last 30 years

  • @antipyrene

who said anything about ron paul? There is nothing "conservative" about being corrupted by cash and being on the take as a corporate whore and not caring about your fellow man or the impact you have on the world around you. The failure is a failure of the responabiity of the individual, the perversion of an operational structure, and a failure of accountability. The last thirty (arguably sixty) is nothing more than the fallout of an industrial coup against the law of this republic.

  • And now he's on msm rofl

  • Get the money out of politics.

  • @dougefresh85 zeitgeist movement

  • I join you all from the mountains in Alaska. We don't have an "energy ball" here, but lots and lots of people spread out across the state who believe in this cause. Thank you.

  • This is NOT a repeat from the early 1900s

  • Why is it that some of you think the only way to comment on a video is to attack the messenger? Even if he agrees with you. Like your position as an anonymous jerk on youtube makes you more credible than someone in the public eye saying the right things. Grow up and get with the program.

  • @GuyNamedJustin

Everyone is repeating what he's saying, because megaphones have been banned at occupy wall street (by who, I don't remember). So it's their way of communicating information to everyone out of earshot of the speaker.

  • Why are they repeating everything he's saying? I can't get through this, it's too annoying. If the crowd would just shut the hell up and let the man speak.

  • @GuyNamedJustin Because of the lack of bullhorns. Since they can't have them, they have to repeat everything so people in the back can hear.

  • Ah ok, makes sense. It's totally creepy though and borders on a religious sermon, which is completely unsettling.

  • @GuyNamedJustin Its actually a GREAT idea if you didn't catch on.. there is a SHIT load of people there and the people in the back cant hear. Great way to communicate with a loud crowd and no mic.

  • @GuyNamedJustin The police are arresting anyone that uses a megaphone or any voice amplifying device. They were repeating what he was saying so a wider audience there could hear what he had to say.

  • If you really want to vote for Ron Paul you ought to register as a GOP so he can actually get through the primaries. Sad to say, Bachman or some other normal bullshitter will get into the general election.

  • Bang on Dylan. The corporations buy the politicians to spend our money on them when they get elected,.........until we are broke. How succinct is this message.

  • MESSAGE: OUTLAW LOBBYISTS. GET BIG MONEY OUT OF OUR POLITICS. The Supreme Court is bought....otherwise Citizen's United would NOT have gone down the way it did. CORPORATIONS ARE NOT PEOPLE.

  • Business + State = Fascism

  • epic

  • "dick check. my name is dylan. i'm a talkinghead. and you are sheeple. hi. now listen to my flow". lol. when you see a msm talkinghead "agreeing" with anyone about anything, yeah... who are you to question it, right? also, did dylan ever mention the fact that 9/11 was an inside jobitty job job? he didn't, right? well. well. well. funny it is.

  • He's the only person on TV i have EVER heard mention FREE ENERGY. You should have seen the face on his guest. It was like he was saying with his eyes, "We don't go there." It's been more than 100 years since Nikola Tesla was preparing to deliver FREE ENERGY to the world and Wall Street Barons, J.P.Morgan, George Westinghouse, and the Rockefellers tore Tesla's towers down and ruined his career. Because they realized there would be no way to put a meter on it and get rich selling energy.

  • I applaud what he is saying but if he is serious about helping he needs to accept he is a newbie to this and there are people, like Ron Paul, Alex Jones to name a few, that have been talking about this for decades.

If you really want to help fall in behind and support these guys. Get on your corporate media station and tell the audience Ron Paul was right, but show a little humility. It would be like a new soldier going to Afganistan and saying "right boys lets get this war started."

  • Yipee Kai Ay ...

  • I wanna believe Dylan so much but as long as MSNBC signs his paycheck thats were his loyalty lies when it all boils down. I do like what he is doing but cant over look that he works for a Globalist network who promote the nwo agenda & mis-lead the people with bogus info.

  • @deprogrammed100 that is 100% wrong, yes MSNBC writes his paycheck but he doesn't have writers or a teleprompter, he used to work for CNBC got out of there because of the Auction Based system we have. He speaks the truth, he is using his platform to elevate the change, but he is for the people. MSNBC gives him majority freedom of reporting. I mean no disrespect to you but just giving my poin i guess haha god i love this country, because we can do this

  • @mckean2 I love my Country as well & it just puzzles me on how Dylan who works for 1 of the most mis-leading news networks & is paid quite a handsome salary for doing so. I do Love what he is doing by speaking up against our corrupt Government but he is playing both sides of the fence & thats what gives me concern? I pray he is Stepping up but thats what he is SUPPOSE to do as a Journalist, provide the public with the truth. May he continue to use his platform for TRUTH...End The FED

  • @deprogrammed100

you sir are a gentleman and a scholar. and a nutter at the same time. how dare you (!) question this msm talkighead's intentions and words? are you a "hater"? member of a "cult" or sth? look at dylan. he seems a down-to-earth type of guy. like joe the plumber. sort of. man, and that was inspiring. i'm about to start a revolution in my hood after listening to dylan. viva la revolucion even if it's fake. which it isn't. dylan is not fake. that's why he works for msnbc. duh!

  • YA!!! good show

  • Dylan is one of the very few in the mainstream media who has a conscience and speaks the truth from his heart. It is very refreshing. Thanks Dylan!

  • @ronheri

so, he stated, live on tv, @ msnbc that 9/11 was an inside job? when the fuck did that happen????

  • let the man talk..

  • he had me till he said rich people are evil. class warfair is not the way,

  • I think that if Ron paul doesnt get elected and nothing changes we will see a real Revolution

  • @imallamaforeba I don't think Ron Paul can be elected. Having said that I do not agree with your cause and effect. Ron Paul is in a party that really does not respect him. His only hope is to run as an independent. I beieve that should that happen, the re-election of Barack Obama would be all but guranteed. As a precedent look at Ross Perot in '92.

  • What's with the repeating of lines by the crowd? It's like some cult shit lol. The only reason i can think of is so that they relay the message louder to the people around them so everyone hear's the speech.. is that why?

  • @anonymootle Bullhorns are illegal to use so they repeat it so people can hear what they are saying.

  • Say no to Herman Cain. No more business in government! Godfather’s Pizza> National Restaurant Association lobbyist> Federal Reserve chairman> Security and Prosperity Partnership…Need I say more?

  • you cant get business out of government by putting government into business. Get rid of overbearing regulations. Get rid of subsidies. Stop letting the government pick winners and losers. RP12

  • Companies that sell goods to us must hold political positions that protect every day people. Have a list of companies that protect us from Wall Street and the banks. Simply buy products from companies who only contribute to politicians that refuse money from Wall Street, banks, other groups that shove democracy out of the way. Companies can be monitored by guardian groups and rated like Amazon products.

  • This is awesome occupation!!! keep up the excellent work! RiSE up!the time is now!

  • Forget about getting money out of politics, lets just get politics out of our lives. The Government creates more problems than it solves. Its time to abandon The Government and to focus on peaceful solutions to our problems

  • Well nice speech but who does he want to do the job of separating the the government from the money? I bet through the government or its structures. At least it sounds this way. And in my opinion its not really good to let the cause of the problem solve the problem.

  • What an intelligent man! I love him!

  • Hes def. right in that getting money out of politics should be the first step.

  • I do not agree with what this guy says, He is trying to fool you into thinking Democracy is some new Idea and that the Constitution is old and outdated, He is attempting to manipulate and Hijack the Energy we have taken so long to build up.

  • @TheUnitedNewsNetwork You think so? He offered the idea of a constitutional amendment to help fix the problem. If he really thought the constitution was outdated, like seemingly so many in Washington do, he would have said just create a law, constitutional or not.

  • @ytmikelol Yes, I have a really bad feeling about this.

  • @TheUnitedNewsNetwork So what you're saying is, proposing a constitutional amendment is less constitutional than laws being bought that actually go against the constitution? Seems legit.

  • Dylan's had a bit too much coffee again.

  • SEPARATION OF ECONOMY AND STATE!!!!

  • Good man Dylan

  • In the last 5 seconds the uploader listed some things...why Napster? lol

  • @purplefetus3 He talks about Napster in part 2 of the video.

  • ratigan is nuts - the corporate money has already flown in to the candidates (excepting Paul?) - the newly elected will be the same as the old, and they will not bring up any bill to "vote the money out"

  • Ron Paul does what he says and isn't a sellout like 99% of the others in both parties are. RP 2012.

  • Abolish the FED, the IRS and reinstate the Glass Steagall Act which has enabled runaway derivatives and allowed every criminal banker in the USA to fleece our economy and kill the future of millions of everyday Americans. Being rich is not the problem. Being rich and corrupt is the problem. Capitalism is good. Crony-capitalism is evil. Learn the difference so we can restore justice to America. United we stand, divided we fall. Don't let the criminal bankers divide us with class warfare

  • At least he is saying both parties are bad. I have seen him talk about Republican bad Democrat good crap, so if he's saying both are crap, I'm for him. lol I think even Conservative and Liberals alike are sick of both parties. Tea Party was a start for the country, now we need more.

  • @papavalium The Tea Party really? God, if you think that's good change you're delusional. The Tea Party is a bunch of hyper conservative, bible thumping, hate mongering, war loving flip floppers. You can't want no taxes and want to expand war, it's contradictory.

  • @zachlikesbmth Hmm I said they were a start. If you really don't think they are powerful or they are people organizing, then why would you support these people? I'm for both parties going out of business...and guess what so is the tea party. When real liberals throw out Democrats they real parties will begin.

  • @papavalium This isn't the Tea Party protesting, it's not even an organized group. What these people are protesting for is actually the exact opposite of what the Tea Party want. These people here are trying to stop corporate corruption and actually get the top 1% to pay their fair share in taxes. I never said I didn't think these people weren't powerful and I do support this movement, I'll be attending a local occupy event in my community.

  • Lot of dirty stupid hippies at occupy Wall Street. They should be in front of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave instead of Wall Street. That's why these idiots are too stupid to know they head from their butt.

  • Why don't they just use a megaphone?

  • This is the most fascistic thing I've seen in a LONG time.

Thank you for illustrating you're mindless fucking drones.

  • he is a skilled orator, but can you trust him?

  • @MrCluttermania yes, he seems legit, based on all his remarks since 2008

  • @MrCluttermania There are clips from his show where you can see him getting visibly emotional in the form of anger during discussions of these issues.

  • PAUL / KUCINICH 2012

  • Dylan Ratigan, possibly the only respectable main stream media pundit around

  • @SleepDirtyJazzySet Yup. Never heard of him before, but he speaks sense.

Check out Lawrence O'Donnell ... not sure if you saw this one ... but it's great .... watch?v=meT8CJgEBQw

  • Ron Paul is the Man..........

  • Dylan, good stuff but i don't agree with an important point. OWS is doing one thing - putting the spotlight on the problem for all to see. We can't articulate the answer to changing 40 years of bad policy. You and your peeps can start finding with politicians and people with some answers and put them on the air. To ask OWS for the answers is unreasonable and a cheap-shot questios. We are defining the PROBLEM clearly. That is an amazing first step.

  • this guy speaks meaningful words

  • @drqpt Yep...and wouldn't it be silly for them to NOT attempt the same here? Fox News refers to them as socialist, then Michael Moore makes it appear as if they're correct by piggy-backing his anti-capitalist agenda onto occupywallstreet on many national platforms... all while denying that the private central bank is the problem. Now Dylan shows up, solidly within GE's propaganda wing, and pledges to help. The very same hijacking that happened to the Tea Party is happening all over again. RP2012

  • the movement needs 1 issue..is it money in politics if so that's good.

  • lol its funny they just need a blow horn now eveyr one else repeating what he says

  • I agree with him, a single principal people on all sides can get behind. Start throwing in all the other issues and it only works to divide people and water down the message.

  • hell yeah!!! this guys on the right track

  • nice ratigan!!!

  • an amendment to separate business and state:? I love it. That should help keep the Lobbying out. So that Big Pharma can lobby to make marijuana illegal.

  • "the essence of oligarchical rule is not father-to-son inheritance, but the persistence of a certain world-view and a certain way of life, imposed by the dead upon the living. a ruling group is a ruling group so long as it can nominate its successors. 'The Party' is not concerned with perpetuating its blood but with perpetuating itself. who wields power is not important, provided that the hierarchical structure remains always the same." -george orwell

  • end corporate funding to politicians. and repeal the supreme court decision that corporations are not people.

  • F@(% YEAH!!!

  • "War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.

  • A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small 'inside' group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes."

    Smedley Darlington Butler

  • Luke this movement has been hijacked by socialist. I hope you wake up before these people infect the original Ron Paul tea party, that's what its about at least it was. I almost fell for it till a younger viewer pointed out a few things that I new but getting caught up in the hype my core constitutional beliefs were put to the side. By the way its not a Democracy but a REPUBLIC!!!!

  • This why I love Ron Paul, Denis K, and Ralph Nader. I have already committed my vote for Ron Paul in 2012. Sound Money and Integrity

  • @Afraidinct no way

  • @Afraidinct Look up America System of Economics

  • HERE: /watch?v=hWgrQWMbDjE

THIS is Dylan Ratigan... This is how fake he is. He's not trying to jump on the bandwagon, he's grasping for it's reigns. He's an awful actor who feigns anger whenever it serves his corrupt purpose. Remember what happened to the Tea Party??? Does anybody even remember Ron Paul leading that movement??... Ratigan will be to occupywallstreet what Palin was to the Tea Party... if he's allowed to do so. Forget this opportunistic asshole.
