Just curious- on Mae Geri 1 and 2, we are taught to raise the left hand as a block (though the hand almost looks like a push) to be placed on the uke's shoulder while doing gyakazuki with the right hand. I'm told it's to ensure there is no other attack from the uke's right hand.
Learned Sanbon front kick 1 & 2 this week but missed jodan uke last week so it's helpful to see it demonstrated here. I've done a few martial arts in my 43 years but I must say Wado is by far the most complete and practical one of them all.
