My advice is to get a real hulking man for the job instead of that computer generated crap.My first choice to play the Hulk would be Shaq.It's a perfect fit for him at this stage of his life.He's always comparing himself to the Hulk and he's such a huge man.I think he would do great as the Hulk.
even tho the newer film is generaly seen as the better movie, no1 can doubt that the 03 hulk character was a much stronger/tougher hulk than the new 1, very close to the comic in terms of size and abilities. it did lack in aggression tho, including the facial expressions and some movements looking too relaxed. where the newer one looks,moves and acts very angry, even if its weaker,much skinnier and has half the abilities.

With Ang Lee's HULK the characters we're balanced and it focussed on what affected them. That's why Batman Begins was a success and the prev Batman films were bullshit, those films failed bec. they focussed on too much action, then Batman Begins went to the roots of the story and succeded.

The first hulk was so sily. I mean hulk fights a giant dog. I mean come on, a giant dog, how stupid. This film was much better then the first one, it wasn't as stupid, the story was better and the action was fantastic. I would give the first hulk 4 out of 10 and the new hulk 8 or 9 out of 10. The new hulk was brilliant.
Going into a story about a particular character in a particular genre, people have certain expectations. The first Hulk movie was more complex (what with everybody whispering their lines in a story about a Nietzchean "superman"), but the second movie was more true to what people (like me) were expecting out of a Hulk movie--stuff happens, Banner gets mad, Hulk smash!

i think ed norton did a better job on bruce banner than eric bana. Even tho eric bana is a good actor he did not really fit banner's characteristics in the comic, banner is supposed to be the "puny" guy as opposed to his alter ego who is the complete opposite. eric bana in my opinion was too "buff" for the role or not "puny" enough. All in all the new hulk movie was much better & genuine than ang lee's unfortunate presentation of the hulk.
The movie was great. I give it three and a half stars because of the dialogue and everytime the Hulk would appear, it would almost seem as if the movie just transformed into a really good PS3 game. I mean, the CGI in the 2003 Movie was MUCH better than this one. The Hulk actually looked REAL. He had human characteristics and compositions. This one, it just looked like a fourth generation counsole. Sorry, but its true.
Ang Lee's Hulk looked like a giant (15 feet is ridiculous) fluorescent green baby that didn't fit into it's environment at all. When Eric Bana upsets himself in front of his computer... failure. And Nick Nolte as a water creature. Hilarious.
Eric Bana played his role too excessively, while Norton was more natural. More like Bill Bixby, who undoubtely was the most convincing Banner of them all.
Hulk needed to display a bit more strength. That chain he used to choke, he should have been able to break it when pulling it tight. There should never be any doubts as to who is thee Strongest There Is. Some may be quicker, some may be Smarter, but Hulk is strongest or Hulk SMASH.
The scenes in Brazil were very awkward, the guy of the factory doesn't speak portuguese... Then they were in Rocinha, and in a moment later they were in Lapa... It was almost 20 miles away... And there is no chance the US Army goes to rocinha, starts to shoot and no drug dealers shoot them back... Even cops cannot go there... And there are no factories there too. But the most fun part is when he takes a ride in "Guatemala", with a guy who drives a kombi with Paragay license... Thats hilarious!
I thought the Story was lame. Why was the Military trying to capture Hulk so they can get his DNA and make a weapon? They already knew how to make him, and they even remade another guy into the weapon. Am I missing something here?
what u are missing is that MARVEL is taking charge of this franchise and they are following a storyline which follows the ULTIMATE MARVEL series. Read Ultimate Origins and it will make a little more sense to you.

The first one had no characters at all therefore the second one had only emos as protagonists. the comedy parts came across totally forced as an effect of that.

Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne both developed during their movies. that's what makes their films better in my opinion.

There are only a few reasons why some people would say the movie sucked. They aren't comic book fans Or they just aren't hulk fans. I saw the movie and saw nothing wrong with it, it was awesome. But if you are a comic fan and a hulk fan and still think this movie sucked. Then you are a complete moron plain and simple.

The first hulk was so sily. I mean hulk fights a giant dog. I mean come on, a giant dog, how stupid. This film was much better then the first one, it wasn't as stupid, the story was better and the action was fantastic. I would give the first hulk 4 out of 10 and the new hulk 8 or 9 out of 10. The new hulk was brilliant.

Going into a story about a particular character in a particular genre, people have certain expectations. The first Hulk movie was more complex (what with everybody whispering their lines in a story about a Nietzchean "superman"), but the second movie was more true to what people (like me) were expecting out of a Hulk movie--stuff happens, Banner gets mad, Hulk smash!

well i think the graphics for the new movie like the body definition for the incredible hulk were very good but the first hulk got bigger as he got angrier and was very fast and the story was great but then maybe the incredible hulk was how it was suposed to be the whole time i dont kno i think both movies were great in there own way

i think ed norton did a better job on bruce banner than eric bana. Even tho eric bana is a good actor he did not really fit banner's characteristics in the comic, banner is supposed to be the "puny" guy as opposed to his alter ego who is the complete opposite. eric bana in my opinion was too "buff" for the role or not "puny" enough. All in all the new hulk movie was much better & genuine than ang lee's unfortunate presentation of the hulk.

The movie was great. I give it three and a half stars because of the dialogue and everytime the Hulk would appear, it would almost seem as if the movie just transformed into a really good PS3 game. I mean, the CGI in the 2003 Movie was MUCH better than this one. The Hulk actually looked REAL. He had human characteristics and compositions. This one, it just looked like a fourth generation counsole. Sorry, but its true.

Ang Lee's Hulk looked like a giant (15 feet is ridiculous) fluorescent green baby that didn't fit into it's environment at all. When Eric Bana upsets himself in front of his computer... failure. And Nick Nolte as a water creature. Hilarious.
The Incredible Hulk attends to all these issues.

Hulk needed to display a bit more strength. That chain he used to choke, he should have been able to break it when pulling it tight. There should never be any doubts as to who is thee Strongest There Is. Some may be quicker, some may be Smarter, but Hulk is strongest or Hulk SMASH.

The scenes in Brazil were very awkward, the guy of the factory doesn't speak portuguese... Then they were in Rocinha, and in a moment later they were in Lapa... It was almost 20 miles away... And there is no chance the US Army goes to rocinha, starts to shoot and no drug dealers shoot them back... Even cops cannot go there... And there are no factories there too. But the most fun part is when he takes a ride in "Guatemala", with a guy who drives a kombi with Paragay license... Thats hilarious!

I thought the Story was lame. Why was the Military trying to capture Hulk so they can get his DNA and make a weapon? They already knew how to make him, and they even remade another guy into the weapon. Am I missing something here?

what u are missing is that MARVEL is taking charge of this franchise and they are following a storyline which follows the ULTIMATE MARVEL series. Read Ultimate Origins and it will make a little more sense to you.

what? both of the hulk movies weren't that great.
The first one had no characters at all therefore the second one had only emos as protagonists. the comedy parts came across totally forced as an effect of that.
The only good thing was the action, but I didn't care for bruce,because he was so whiny. I more or less just enjoyed the eye-candy and was not rooting for him.
Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne both developed during their movies. that's what makes their films better in my opinion.
