palaginghuli - I am being realistic on why Asian's don't succeed in the U.S. The main reason is because of their accent. It's hard to understand at times. Charice has an amazing voice and her accent isn't as bad as bad as other Asian celebrities like, Jacky Chan or Jet Li. Charice's accent is not bad. In my opinion, she sings much better than Regine Velasquez. Foreign accents need not overshadow the talent that is obviously present in a vocal permance. Celine Dion's Quebecois accent is still apparent in her singing voice even to this day, but that hasn't stopped her from becoming a great singer.
