  • i dont know why everybody refers to backhand some people through different like forehand, tomahawk or even roller

  • i throw mid ranges same way :)

  • @FLXBUZZZ Nobody cares what you do, moron, its all about Dave.

  • @HughEfOhs whats up with these cunts nowadays, all they want to do is to be rude. grow up

  • @FLXBUZZZ What "cunts" are you referring to? Your mom or your girlfriend.

  • @HughEfOhs haha good one, seriously grow up

  • @FLXBUZZZ Haha bad one. seriously, rent a brain.

  • hey wow, I switched to the fan grip on my mid-aurora and practiced a few holes today, I actually shot past the first hole I tried it on after I made sure the grip was right. I'm a believer.

  • i like this guys teaching style

  • 0:38 like you're flicking somebody off...

  • I just started playing... I am completely hooked.

  • I use a birdie grip ( with thumb meeting the middle finger due to my large fingers the other grip are uncomfortable and I grip lock too much. still get some distance on it when I have good snap on disc.

  • cant wait to play tomorrow!

  • nice vid but i have no clue what is a good driver or midrange i also play on a heavily wooded course and need a good disc plz help

  • @TheSkierka123 Im no Pro, but, as far as midranges go a Innova shark works great. Also works pretty good for putting. They say distance driver on some of themnow, but for years they said multi-purpose. Drivers come down to strength. They "speed" rating on innova disc, i believe, works like this, The higher the speed the "harder" you have to throw it for it to mainain staying flat while in flight. SO if you are fairly new and forearm. A rated 6 or 7 disc should work great.

  • @TheSkierka123 get a discraft buzzz, its a super straight midrange, and one of my best putters, i use it for anything under 150 feet. all the courses I play at are heavily wooded too. I also like The innova beast for long range shots, it stays fairly straight for me.

  • @rageRATS I am a huge BEAST fan! Love that disc. Spent hours in poison ivy looking for it. Try a Champion Coyote if you like the BEAST. It flies dead straight and is so so nice.

  • good form!

  • thank you Dave Feldberg, excellent grip techniques

  • For some reason, the sound is only coming out of my left headphone. Maybe that's why you can't hear it. Maybe you're not listening in stereo.

  • I can't hear anything...

  • turn your sound up

  • Thanks, tied that. Sound works on other videos, just not this one for me

  • that makes sense, Im really glad i watched this video, because lately i felt i should be using less than 4 fingers to create more spin and throw further, however I noticed my control suffered some, Thank you for re-affirming that 4 fingers is the best!!!

  • good advice

  • forget feldberg...put ur thumb in the center of the disc

  • I do the modified power grip and can drive about 350 on a good drive. I have heard that you can go further with only a 2 finger grip. Why is that?

  • 2-finger grip produces a great amount of spin and snap. the more revolutions (spin) you put on the disc the more it will flip over (anhyzer) and glide longer. but with the 2-finger grip you lose control and you can easily shank it.

  • Although in the longer distance throws the modified power grip will give you more control- with the right amount of torque, arm speed, and angle on the disc, many different grip style can produce very long distance throws.

  • i cant do the power grip because i broke my index finger and its slightly deformed, so i have to keep the index finger straight under or over the disc

  • THE biggest disc golf lie I have heard.

  • lol i didnt know dave feldberg dips? lol its pretty obvious in this video

  • i also use the 2 finger grip and throw over 400ft. seem to get some good rip and spin out of it.

    RLTW

  • Time to break out the disc's :)

  • i use a two finger grip and can throw 450ft on a good day and have control

  • I think he did alot better here on the camera then he did in his instructional video with Ken

  • i need to go out to a field and see how far i can throw my valkyrie and roadrunner. i dont think im even in the 300ft range yet haha

  • Comment removed

  • Can't wait to get out and try the modified power grip. I will also try tweaking my midrange grip to look more like Dave's. Couldn't hurt. Great video

  • The first and most important lesson in disc golf. Great, great tutorial.

  • he had a huge dip in looked like. nice video. i used to only use the fan grip and threw bout 300+ now with this power grip im hoping to get up in the 400's

  • Thanks! Interesting about Climo, I wonder why in his grip video he said he uses the modified fan grip so that way he only has 2 release points instead of 4. Also I never really knew where to put my thumb and why. THANKS AGAIN, MORE VIDS WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

  • you didn't know where to put your thumb, wamboozler? lol

  • Smart a**
