  • you my friend are a complete retard. blue/white is for the line, no such thing as red. stop giving mis leading info and if i was to come across this wiring in your house i would charge the shit out of you for doing it

  • yes

  • cat 5

  • first of all you NEVER strip telecom cable. stripping cable allows oxygen to touch reach the wires causing corrosion. If you must splice cable use a splice connector. Second the pairs in a cat 5 cable are orange, green, blue, and brown. there is no red. the blue pair is line 1 and the orange pair is line 2. There is so much wrong with this video. Im not trying to be a troll or be mean but this is misleading information.

  • what u would do is u go outside to ur phone box and wire up a wire from there and bring it in the house and wire that up to a phone line

  • HOW do I hook up new wiring to outside box if all the lines to it were cut because the home was previously robbed of all its copper? Thanks in advance

  • ya it works

  • Yes I will like to know how to connect directly to the main

  • cat5 is better quality transmission- what they use nowadays b/c we have computers that require more than just 2 wire like 20 yrs ago

  • to show how u can use as telephone wire

  • So... what is the purpose of the cat 5 wire?

  • ANYBODY HAVE ANY QUESTIONS??

  • @Nazil24 Yes does it work
