What a touching video, I loved it. It's good to know that people have a place where they can have access to affordable spay / neuter services for their pets.
Hopefully the Panamanians will learn from organizations like this, that it's a problem that can be solved if everyone work together to help.
This video is very serious and i hope more people realize the seriousness in spaying animals, even wild. We can not afford to have more unwanted pets on the streets constantlt dying , hungry, in pain, and spreading disease. Thank you for sheding the light on a matter that needs much attention.
i think that you prefer to put lil dogs and cats in and and drop them in a place where some "good samaritian"(I don't know if it is that way) will take care of them.. yeah right.. I don't think so...
that's why there is so many people and animals starving 'cos we are too many living being is this world...
This is not right, Just imagine your Dog has lost, and you want Puppies of your dog, and your dog got catch by some of this people. Any of you have ever think of this? If you don't want to reproduce do it with YOUR DOG/CAT no with any free animals you see.
This must be done to people, that has no future and has a party life and not to innocent animals.
thw easiest thing you can do is to buy an identification tag that it's sold in almost every vets in panama. it cost around 6 or 8 dollar each and you can you your phone number there duh..
Feral cats and dogs should not be returned to the outdoors because they (cats especially) pose a threat to native wildlife. These animals are not natural to the environment of Panama and should be kept indoors as pets or euthanized to protect the natural environment and endangered species. I am happy though that they are being spayed, because at least that is one step forward in reducing their population.
I'm sure everyone is aware of this, but for the moment this is a good thing to do, until the municipal authorities can do something about this situation. At least Spay is controlling in some way the cats and dogs population and I'm sure in the future we'll be able to do something about this. Feral cats help in some way to control plague, back in time as you know people in the US got cats basically to control mice (barn cats), sorry for other species. really!
Note to jkaru26: You mentioned the following: "Feral cats and dogs should not be returned to the outdoors because they (cats especially) pose a threat to native wildlife..." God placed them in this world for a purpose. A feral cat can be domesticated, but it takes patience & total involvement. This organization's best interest is in controlling the population. I think cats are not too popular in Panama because of people's ignorance. Just my humble thoughts.
This video is wonderful! Your dedication to helping animals in need is very admirable. Congradulations on the huge success of SpayPanama!
Think of how wonderful it will be to look back in 10 years and see all the good that has come about directly as a result of SpayPanama and the volunteers!
A great, non profit (TRULY non profit) organization! We will continue to support this worthy cause!
esto es super positivo para un pais como panama, ni siquera hay trabajo para mantener a los humanos, para que traer mas perros y gatos a sufrir.

you are totally wrong, before saying something like this GO GET CORRECT INFORMATION¡¡¡¡
its better to reduce the amount of stray cats and dogs by sterilising them than killing them.
a non controlled number of stray animals trents to turn into plagues.

if you care about your dog/cat so much, why would you let it run away to be a stray on the streets??

There is no need to use such language. Humans are the most intelligent species (or at least we think), but we can't seem to get along.
Please people: offer your comments without insulting each other!

Thank you!

I'm not sure what you mean by: "...Just imagine your Dog has lost, and you want Puppies of your dog, and your dog got catch by some of this people."
First of all, your dog should remain IN YOUR YARD NOT ROAMING THE STREETS spreading or catching a disease or ticks & fleas.
One true statement you made: "This must be done to people..." Yes, you are right!
