No-name!!! Yea Buckethead, Bumblefoot, Robin Finck from NIN, Brain from Buckethead, Tommy Stinson from The Replacements, and Richard Fortus a famous live musician is far from nobodys. By the way according to Marc Canter, Slash's best friend, Chinese Democracy was done in 7 years. Slash and Duff held back the release over lawsuits they never could win. So those extra 7 years were put to good use by adding songs like Scraped and Sorry.

Famous again? You know like selling 5 million Chinese Democracys worldwide and selling out half of the shows 3 months before beginning isnt famous. The main reason for destroying Old GnR was a clash of egos. Slash wanted this type of music, Duff wanted this, and Axl wanted this. I took Axl's side of things after CD came out and I saw it was Superior to VR and I read his open letter. I absolutely think Axl had maybe 50% of the death of the band. Slash was about even with Axl at this point.

Chinese Democracys superior to Velvet Revolver? Chinese Democracys got like 2 good songs, whole rest is unbearable for my ears.. VR got at least 10 good songs even though i dont like the STP sound -.-

I think its kinda obvious that Slash wanted to continue in the "classic" hard rock style whilst axl wanted to do something "new" .. Although some of the snakepit stuff is heavier than the Guns stuff its not drastically different.. Either way, im glad that they both continue making music. (Obviously i wish that they both could grow the fuck up and get back together, but i dont think that's going to happen.)

Good luck with that, Axl said that the only ones he would be willing to work with is Steven, Izzy, and Duff. Slash would have to die before there would be a reunion. However do to his really mediocre style of playing the same blues scale over and over again he wont really be needed. Richard Fortus has a very similar style to Slash and has an even better technical ability. So if anyone had to take the place of Slash it would be him. Surprisingly Slash plays good here, besides the bland ending.
