Duh Forget the CO2 - The REAL problem is Bare Earth Heating or land based heat island effects -consider that with deforestation most solar energy no longer goes into evapotranspiration or the massively energy hungry water cycle.!!

By removing 70% of the vegetation on the land surface the planet no longer absorbs/converts solar energy into transporting billions of tonnes of water into the upper atmosphere
