We live in the bay area also with a view of the bridge and irondequoit bay from our condo window/porch. I saw a ufo with many blinking lights hovering for a minute. I was too scared and did not even want to check it out.
Interesting Vid. I am in Rochester too. For all those neysayers that think it's a Plane, EXPLAIN WHY just after 0:31 you can see 3 separate other lights move in towards the V shape (two from the top left and right & one from the bottom right) as tho they are docking or something.

Just anFYI for all you night video takers. Many cameras see infrared and transpose the wavelength into something visible to the human eye in the screen/viewfinder. It is entirely possible to see something with the camera you cannot see with your naked eye. Many military craft now have infrared lights on them so they can fly in hot zones with regular lights off but still be seen by those with the appropriate equipment. That said, you'll see weird stuff often, maybe not all military.
glad you reported. I live in fairport and a few weeks ago i saw something that changed my whole thought process and opened my mind. I saw a large green light carry itself slowly across the sky much larger and faster than an airplane considering it's distance and at first i said, her! a shooting star! then i realized, ive seen shooting star before, this was not. I tried making a reasonable explanation of it, but i cannot explain what I saw to be anything ive ever seen before. I saw a UFO
Weird, i live in rochester, ny too and i saw 3 things in the sky that were twice as big as a star and were flashing blue, red, white, and greenish. They were there for 5 hours until 6 in the morning
There is no way that is an airplane.I drive over that bridge every day and i see airplanes all the time. These lights have no resemblance to an aircraft i know of. Pay attention to they way they blink and move across the object.Thats one of the better videos ive ever seen. When did you take this?
I saw the SAME THING in webster last week! where did you see this one? The thing is huge! Tons of lights... WAY bigger than an aiplaine... and absolutely no noise.
yo there was somethin like this is over the skies of arizona or something some guy lit hydrogen balloons on fire? idk i didnt hear the whole story but they kinda looked like this
Great video! Whereabouts in Rochester was this filmed? I'm also from Rochester (Brighton), and my kids and I have seen some weird stuff beginning last spring. Nothing like that, though. Mainly daytime sightings of solid objects (one of which involved two of my kids and three neighborhood kids as they waited for the bus one morning this past January).
Also, what are those amber lights that fly by every so often -- streetlights?
@chickenlips3000 Im actually sitting out on East ave right now watching something in the sky following a plane into the airport very wierd , i wish my camera would get a good image of it, its so wired.... If anyone has anymore vids of Rochester UFos please post up
