Michael Nyman seems to have an unparalleled knowledge of human emotion, I think, because whenever he composes a piece it's always so powerful, so emotionally moving...

This piece like many other Michael Nyman pieces will forever haunt me.

Am I the only one to feel so sorry for Henry ???? The movie's gorgeous and the three actors are astonishing, but I have to admit I'm not sure the it would have been so moving without Michael Nyman........thank him! <3

To all Michael Nyman fans: You MUST watch the video of "Let There Be Light "... it's a song by MICHAEL NYMAN with rock noir band BELLADONNA and it's based on his music from "The Piano". Nyman himself plays piano on it... search for "nyman belladonna" here on youtube and you'll find it!! :-)
