at 0:36 you can see that the flame is moving because of altair. altiar killed the only one that noticed him. Thats a good tactic if you dont want to kill so much

This was an epic trailer before AC1 launch, i still get chills looking @ this trailer. Altair was the Darkest Assassins, cold blooded to his enemies but we hardly see his other side.

I hope they maje a prequel after AC3, about what Altair did after AC1 in more detail, his life & his legacy & then they can continue to Desmond story in present. Would be awesome. Jus me sayin, i feel Ezio get two-three games & we know little bout Altair, only through lil flash backs in AC2.

@ayth8 Ezio is 52 in the AC revelation. That what the wiki told me. Yes no one can wait till november but true is(my personal opinion) the first to 2 assassins creed's were a lot better then brotherhood. So I think ubisoft should let the game out when they think its done.

@anikamaradona AC1 started the story, and first showed the apple of eaden by Al Mualim who tries to kill Altair with it but fails. you dont need it to 100% understand 2/bh but it just teaches you the basics of the story

First of all, the Templar order was created to protect the Pilgrims entering the Holy land, they were soon used in the crusades to stop the muslims from taking over, after the crusades the Pope ordered all Templar members to be killed. People say some survived and left on there ships. Just so you know, there may not have been a treasure because the Templar order does not permit the taking of treasure for yourself. Illuminani have nothing to do with it.

In a sense, yes, but not really. Both organizations are dead, and each had their own different goals. The templars were meant to protect holy land from the muslims while the illuminati was more of a fraternity of sorts, where like minded individuals could meet and help one another out. The way their organization was built was kind of similar, but their goals were very different. The illuminati was later outlawed by various governments while the Templars were destroyed by the curch.
