Well thank you for clearing one thing up I was wondering. The two accomplices with Gordon at the end. I always enjoyed the series and I had no idea who the two accomplices were. but again thank you though I was wondering who they were.
Movie was good, had great traps and all...but my only disappointment was that Jigsaw and Dr. Gordon were only in it for 5 minutes or so. They're the only characters I care about...screw everyone else. The should've revealed Dr. Gordon at the end of saw 6 and tie up the rest of the loose ends with him in Saw 3D.
@filmfaker21 I like Hoffman but they should ahve given those two a lot moe screentime. I'll bet they were asking for more cash than the studio was willing to pay.
saw 2 is my fav 2 and i also like the movie but was very dissapionted with the ending. WHY THE FUCK did jill die? also how can u take a stab in the neck and walk it off? I just feel like the producers gave into the fact that people werent likeing the movies and thought it was going on for too long, so they rushed what seems like 3 movies worth of information into one movie. im just saying, if that is the real ending then they need to come to the real world and realize some people like to hate
I hated the ending because Hoffman ALMOST grabbed that Saw. Gordon got lucky. Plain and simple. Also, Saw 1 is the best IMO simple and plain because of the climax when Jigsaw stood up from the floor, my jaw dropped. That tops anything Saw has ever done. Period.
i think the other two might have been survivors but idk...you gotta remember with the horror movie industry nothing is set in stone about it being the final chapter..take the final friday 13th....then came jason x, all of that same with freddy, and the scream trilogy, my guess is in the next few years expect another saw cuz ppl will keep saying things about the plot holes so producers and directors will wanna try and wrap it up, plus 7 is a weird number to end on lol
@SacredMortal619 the official website, it stated that there will be another saw.... because he said he going to make each survivor die a painful death slowly. So we won't know til next saw movie comes out

Hoffman already broke his hand earlier to get out of the reverse bear trap in Saw 6, so I wouldn't say this is the end for Hoffman, if they make another movie. there are allot of plot hole because this saw wasn't supppose to be the final saw but because of the drop in box offices scores they decided to make this one the final one by combining the the one saw 7 with what was suppose to be saw 8.
you have a point, because Hoffman is OBVIOUSLY resilient to pain so he could easily damage his foot to get out, but I think not because he did not have any available resources (lights, toilet lid, ect) and the heavy smell of the rotted corpses.
I WAS a lil annoyed when they did not show any flashback relating to Amanda because in all VI movies they kept referring to her and all the sudden nothing comes up.

i liked the ending overall. i did wonder myself who the hell the two pig masked people were. what i would have done though was as soon as hoffman put the reverse bear trap on Jill Tucks head, i would have like for hoffman to turn around and quickly a pig masked guy stab him in the neck with a shot. he ends up waking up alone in the original bathroom from part one, a tape player is there and hoffman turns it on. does the whole Hello Detective Hoffman bit then reveals its Dr Gordon..game over..

Also after thinking about the ending, I think the whole reason he chained him up and threw the saw was because he knew Hoffman would be crazy enough to get out. I loved the bathroom game honestly and I like how they did a shot on the foot like gordon was remembering his test.
Great comments guys! I liked that they killed Jill actually because with her alive, it may have left an open ending. People didn't want her dead so of course she had to die. The guy I'm talking about from the first movie wasn't Adam, but the drill bit guy right before tapp gets his partner killed

In Saw V Strahm realizes "We were all supposed to die." to make Hoffman look like the hero.

His choice was to let go, and he couldnt "in regards to his final test" If you mean the water box thing than yea, hoffman was just trying to kill him. But eric wasnt tested again? neither was art. eric was more of a pon in the game, and thats because he didnt learn anything from his test, "from amanda" and arts game never eneded, I assume whoever left the chains would have taken that place, in this case it was art.

@SacredMortal619 The gun was given to Eric to shoot Officer Riggs to try to stop him from coming through the door however unless Eric had gotten a nice head shot he wouldn't of been able to stop Riggs so Eric wasn't just a PON in the game because he did have a small chance to change his fate..

@SacredMortal619 Strahm's test wasn't to escape the Drowning Cube. It was to stay in the Sick Room. If he had stayed and just waited a few minutes, his backup would have arrived and let him out. The tape he finds in the secret doorway tells him not to proceed forward or he will die. So he had his chance to live on that one, it was a fair trap.

yea i was gona go see saw 3D but i was reading the plot and reviews online and it sounds like its better if people see it online or something. A lot of people said that the movie focused too much on the traps, gore, and bobby dagen and his test rather than focusing on the most important parts of the Saw franchise: the storyline and the main characters of the franchise.

Man I was so fucking mad on how it ended cause I was salty dat dey killed Jill too but they still left stuff unsolved because how da hell did detective hoffman know Amanda was da one responsible for here loosin the baby because dey showed wat happend in 6 but it didn't explain how detective Hoffman knew so in my opinion dey left it open so dey can make more Saw Movies cause stuff was still unsolved in Saw3D so don't be surprised if another com out in 2yrs from now or maybe even next year

i liked the ending overall. i did wonder myself who the hell the two pig masked people were. what i would have done though was as soon as hoffman put the reverse bear trap on Jill Tucks head, i would have like for hoffman to turn around and quickly a pig masked guy stab him in the neck with a shot. he ends up waking up alone in the original bathroom from part one, a tape player is there and hoffman turns it on. does the whole Hello Detective Hoffman bit then reveals its Dr Gordon..game over..

Also after thinking about the ending, I think the whole reason he chained him up and threw the saw was because he knew Hoffman would be crazy enough to get out. I loved the bathroom game honestly and I like how they did a shot on the foot like gordon was remembering his test.

Great comments guys! I liked that they killed Jill actually because with her alive, it may have left an open ending. People didn't want her dead so of course she had to die. The guy I'm talking about from the first movie wasn't Adam, but the drill bit guy right before tapp gets his partner killed

i think the ppl w/ the pig masks helping dr. gordon is other survivors. Amanda, Hoffman, and Dr. Gordon were all survivors and "helped" Jigsaw after.
I think it is end b/c the pt was for Gordon to help keep Jill alive and w/ her dead know I dont think there is a reason for another one

I seen the movie and I have to say I loved it. I think the reason it ended like that was to show that Gordon wasn't going to give Hoffman the same choice he had. I felt the ending could have been better, but it made since to end it where it all began. I was pissed though about 3 things, they never talked about how the puppet came about, where the skin puzzles went or formed, and what happened to characters like gordons wife and kid, Matthews son, and the guy from the first movie that had the dr

If he would be fucked for life, then that's what he gets anyways. He made it so long because he's a low-life cheater, duh. If I was Hoffman, I would have did that to Jill as well, because he's HOFFMAN. He's evil. If he wasn't hoffman, or if he was an innocent human being, Jill wouldn't have put in in the RBT.

The only reason why he needed to be tested tho was not because he took his life for granted but because he took others life for granted. But what "needed to be done" was to escape? to get the hell out of dodge? haha

@SacredMortal619 He wasn't fair with Strahm either the box trap was designed to kill Strahm there was no tape there was no rules luckily Strahm was smart also the game in Saw 4 wasn't completely fair either Art the lawyer dude already passed his test when he killed the dude with his eyes sewn shut, and putting Eric Matthews back in a test after he already made it out of the bathroom? In Saw V Strahm realizes "We were all supposed to die." to make Hoffman look like the hero.

@racrawford16 Umm I hate to say it but strahm sealed his own fate on that one. His choice was to let go, and he couldnt "in regards to his final test" If you mean the water box thing than yea, hoffman was just trying to kill him. But eric wasnt tested again? neither was art. eric was more of a pon in the game, and thats because he didnt learn anything from his test, "from amanda" and arts game never eneded, I assume whoever left the chains would have taken that place, in this case it was art.

@SacredMortal619 Eric was clearly tested again because after he made it out of the bathroom he passed out was dragged put in like a holding room given a brace and then in Saw 4 he was put at the end of Riggs game where he got his head crushed by a giant block of ice he made it out of the bathroom where he was left to die and then put into a trap? is that fair and what was Amanda's test for Eric? alls Amanda pretty much said to Eric was haha now your locked away Game over

@SacredMortal619 I believe he was being tested in a way before Riggs runs through that glass door Art hands Eric a gun and says "Live or die you make the choice." however unless riggs was shot directly in the head I don't think it would've stopped him and they didn't really go in to too much more detail about it..

@SacredMortal619 The gun was given to Eric to shoot Officer Riggs to try to stop him from coming through the door however unless Eric had gotten a nice head shot he wouldn't of been able to stop Riggs so Eric wasn't just a PON in the game because he did have a small chance to change his fate..

@SacredMortal619 Strahm's test wasn't to escape the Drowning Cube. It was to stay in the Sick Room. If he had stayed and just waited a few minutes, his backup would have arrived and let him out. The tape he finds in the secret doorway tells him not to proceed forward or he will die. So he had his chance to live on that one, it was a fair trap.

@Wiintendoh Again,why people dont pay attention to details..THERE was a key with the Reverse Bear Trap from Saw 6 that Jill discarded due to her intentions of not testing Hoffman but wanting to kill him.Remember when John told her on what he had to say w/the contents in the box was of "Grave importance"? Well,John wasnt lying and placing Hoffman in a unwinnable game only made him vengeful instead of rehabilatated.They both got what was coming to them =/ Gordon's the real winner.

Just because hoffmans smart of wiggled his way out of it doesnt mean that it wasnt sposed to be an exacution. Jill could have done the same thing

Reason why Jill was given an unfair test was because she gave Hoffman an unfair one in Saw 6.There was a key to Hoffman's beartrap but she discards it with intentions of killing Hoffman instead and not testing him as she was instructed to do so by John's final request.Testing Hoffman the proper way would have made him rehablilated him and wouldnt have cause Hoffman to go after her.Gordon was that "just in case" factor.Jill dies to the Beartrap that was unwinnable..

yea i was gona go see saw 3D but i was reading the plot and reviews online and it sounds like its better if people see it online or something. A lot of people said that the movie focused too much on the traps, gore, and bobby dagen and his test rather than focusing on the most important parts of the Saw franchise: the storyline and the main characters of the franchise.
I think I'll wait and watch the movie online.
