Killing Floor is better! I own both! Sure L4D makes fun but ones you have it done it gots boring really fast. In killing Floor there is level system and stuff so that makes the game more fun. Yesterday i had a Lan party in killing floor with 5 friends it was soo great.

KF falls into the category of games that are very fun but aren't terribly well made. I had to mute the music, and I can't mute the awful and repetitive dialogue without muting important things (such as enemy noises) as far as I know. The key to KF being so good is the RPG elements (unlocking stuff and leveling up). I can't see it being fun when you know you have nothing more to do.

I have yet to get bored with Killing Floor the open levels to explore, the sandbox mode , crazy fucking monsters ect i bought both of them on steam for $15.00 total. both good games. just comes down to personal preference

Dude I LOVE killing floor but they are VERY DIFFRENT zombie games and in L4D you dont HAVE to go down a hall way and in L4D multilplayer: vurses its one huge open map and you just try to survive and KF is team based game *so is L4D* but KF is like everyone spreds out and trys to kill zombies so they can get money but in L4D people try to help people when they are downed or are horded most of the people in KF dont do that SO BUY L4D AND L4D2 THEY ARE BETTER (And newer)

Left 4 Dead is honestly the better game by far.

However, it is an unfair comparison. Killing floor is a mod, Left 4 Dead is a full game. (Made by Valve, for fuck's sake) They should not be compared. Like I said,

BTW i played left 4 dead 2 after i played killing floor, thinkin it would be more refined n such, i hated L4D2 after playin killin floor didnt seem real enough to me, KF seems real with no real hud and no crosshairs with aim down sights its crazy dark alot of the time and it feels creepy and scary L4D didnt feel scary it felt like a crappy game lol thats my opinion tho

1 Main difference is that Left 4 Dead feels like a singleplayer game , its gerat once, but no reason to play again . In killing Floor you can Level up different classes, which is more of a reason to play again.
