I did it, i got rejected. And guess what?! My confidence lvl is now at -10. Thx to that rejection, but he's right, it isn't as bad as you think. Sure it sucks but what can you do about? This technique is very effective. In psychology it is known as paradoxical intention. When you experience anxiety, in this case approaching women, you fear rejection which feeds the anxiety making it worse. Creating a vicious cycle of anxiety-->fear rejection-->>more anxiety etc... By intending to be rejected in the first place, in essence making rejection your goal, you sabotage this vicious cycle and you are able to succeed in your approach. Good luck.

It's funny though; Neil Strauss's "rules of the game" has the exact same example of how Don Diego Garcia took one of his students out with the specific aim of getting rejected, and ended up having a great conversation (that lasted 45 minutes as well) and getting her phone number.
