Sure--use the passive voice anytime when someone or something is acted upon by another. For example: I have been given a lot of help. Who gave me the help? We might not know, but someone gave it to me. I didn't do anything. Someone else performed the action. I hope that helps. The passive voice is hard to understand at first.
Thanks for the additional clarification.
