One of the best stories on Y&R! The black characters had great tales in the 80s and 90s. The show got all messed up in the 00s. Now here we are in the 10s and it is even worse. I miss the old school.

I love how Olivias voice seems to develop an accent as she get angrier. Does it have to do with her ethic background? ( I heard Tonya Lee Williams was from england or something?)
Sad to say candyman14051986, but Y&R is not as good like it was 10, 15 or 20 years ago for that matter. Alot of vetran characters either were written off or killed off. Also the great legendary and creator of Y&R Bill Bell passed away a few years ago and since his passing, the show's writting has just been HORRIBLE!! The storylines are just ridiculous, the new characters they have now on the show are just boring as hell and bad acting IMO. The show has definitely lost it's touch.

It's kind of ironic (& very stupid I might add) that the writers had Patty kill Tracy's daughter Collen, when it was Patty helping Tracy Abbott with her weight problem way back in the day when they were teens. Patty also saved Tracy from commetting suicide. The writers really screwed up the Patty Williams character IMO.

This really was a historic scene for not only were the viewers educating people about AIDS but showing the rage of the African American Woman that was never seen before. Nathan was hit by a car when he had kiddnaped his son (little Nathan) from Olivia and later died in the hospital from his injuries. I remember this storyline very vividly taking place in the spring/summer of 1996, because it caused a lot of controversy. On top of that, it was a very good storyline too, that made Y&R so damn good back in the day!

What a great scene. I tired of Olivia her last few years on the soap, but when given a meaty storyline that girl could act. That's one of her best performances on the show. Great trip down memory lane and Y&R is always the #1 rated soap.

Oliva has acted this way when her husband was kissing whats her face. She tore up her clothes and everything. Sooo..the way she acts here is just like her.

i remember when keesha died. it was so sad but at least she died in malcolm's arms. aids is such a terrible thing. at least malcolm found it in his heart to forgive her for bedding nathan

My Goodness Olivia was Wild, just as she should have been devistasted wonderful acting. I still felt bad for Keesha the way she died.

What a great scene. I tired of Olivia her last few years on the soap, but when given a meaty storyline that girl could act. That's one of her best performances on the show. Great trip down memory lane and Y&R is always the #1 rated soap.

This was my video originally. Olivia just found out Keesha was having an affair with her husband Nathan. Olivia was Keesha's doctor and informed her that she had AIDS. The rest is history.
