He's a little trooper. I have to take him back weekly to get his cast changed. I asked them to alternate red and white so it would look like a candy can but you can see they didn't take my advice.

Gosh, your tree is gorgeous. I use burgundy poinsettias and now wonder if maybe white magnolis would be would be a nice change. Lovely idea - hope you don't mind if I steal it for next year. :) Gosh, when Boomer gets that cast off, Maggie better watch out! it's amazing how well he is doing with it. May he continue to heal.

Thanks Liz, they are actually ivory poinsettias. For some strange reason they seem to self destruct as I've found two of them in shreds when I've gotten home from work...off.

That kind of luck only happens once, if that. Poor Boomer. He seems to be accepting the cast rather well. Maggie would probably chew it off, and maybe her leg with it.

You can see he's doing really well. They changed his cast and say his road rash is looking better and he's on antibiotics. Poor guy.

I had just adopted him the week before and when I opened the door for the UPS man he ran between my feet and in 15 seconds I heard him screaming! I'm so lucky all it was was a broken leg! Poor, pitiful guy. I love Airedales! All terriers actually.
