Why not just replace the bearing? But this is great idea for making something with a long ass stroke.

do not fix the rotary that way .there cheap by a replacement or through it out and buy a good rotary machine .if your using good gear you can worry about your art and not your cheap machines braking down .....just saying

i went to wwt2 and bought both the stealth lite,and the aluminum one,they do great solid color and tribal work

Mine is aluminum also and I got it off Ebay for twenty dollars and free shipping. It's a pile of crap really and I hardly ever use it. But it will work in a pinch I guess.

or you could by the new bearing assembly from worldwidetattoo for about 15 bux

@ghytwq yeah i thought it comes with 3 different size bearings for adjusting to lining/shading etc...?

@Taud if you actually buy the stealth "kit" this is a knock off machine. I have one of these as well as two stealth lites. The knock off is a paper weight, but as you can see can be made to work.

Just play around with the length and angle of the new shaft (peice of needle bar) to get the machine to run how you prefer.

This fix should last for a while as long as you keep everything well lubricated. I use white lithium grease were the new crankshaft fits into the hole.
