All this is sheer politics, not Dharma. Tibetans are getting desperate for Independence and the TGIE has failed to achieve that promise, (apparently prophesied by Nechung) so they had to blame it on someone...so they use Dorje Shugden as the scapegoat. The ban the Tibetan Govt has on Dorje Shugden is making him bigger in the world. Ironically, if they want to slow his practice down, they must lift the ban. Chinese govt backed up by 1.2 billion citizens is promoting the practice vehemently. For whatever reasons, doesnt matter, the fact is that they are promoting. It all started because Tibetan Govt said the practice should be stopped. So it can only get bigger and now backed up by Tibet's 2nd highest lama, the panchen rinpoche.
There was much more unity among the Tibetan ppl before the Dorje Shugden ban. Having this ban has not benefitted anyone. There should be zero religious repression inside and outside of Tibet.
HH Dalai Lama should accept all Tibetans irregardless of their relgious orientation. No Tibetans should ever be ostracized due to their religious beliefs. HH should accept and welcome everyone as a Relgious Leader of 6 million Tibetans.
