These comments suggest a general misunderstanding of the SS system. The people who participated in this film represent the thousands who have paid into the SS system and who benefit from it every day. SS benefits protect those who survive the loss of a parent or spouse, experience long-term disability, and for those who retire. I cannot speak for those you report as receiving SS disability benefits fraudulently, but I caution you against making assumptions about their physical & mental health.

I hate the SS system and what is stands for and thanks for posting this video of how bad fraud is in the system. People are getting it that are not even physically or mentally disabled. I met a lady on a bus that jumped off the bus at her day treatement program for booze they were making her go to and she told me she got 4 SS checks. Yet talking to her she had nothing mentally or physically wrong. You cursed me out for no reason lady. YOU WILL GET CAUGHT lady in Cornelius Oregon you are mean.

The SS system is messed up for sure. I have been fighting since 1998 and cannot get it at all. I ran into someone I used to work with who is claiming now she cannot work yet she could not say one thing that was wrong with her when I ran into her. She drives a 26000 car and lives high on the hog and is NOT DISABLED. She gave me a hour long lecture about needing a licenced therapist and all of this yet she got her disability in another state and in HAWAII. SS is nothing but a fraudlent system.

Its great that these people did not have a problem with SSA. As for myself I worked self employed for three years and earned my 40 work credits. Yet I have been denied payments although I have shown proof and all my requests have gone unanswered. Calling their 800 number they have been rude and of no help whatsoever.
