  • i lovvvvve it!

  • Yoyogi is my favourite when I'm there :)

  • So missed the music. Was there few years ago and listening to Akihabara's music for 10 days straight ^_^

  • 東京駅の発車メロ大好きです~!早く東京に戻りたいなぁー。

  • @sakuramiyakawa > 楽しんでください ^^

  • akihabara=place to CRAZY!!!

  • @circleline28 > Yes, the place is GOOD! ^_-

  • @thomasgotschalk yep. u are rite.

  • Hallo Thomas,

ich war dieses Jahr von Anfang Februar bis Ende Februar in Japan und bin immer noch total traurig wieder zurück in Deutschland zu sein, danke für dieses Trostpflaster!!!

  • @videowatcher83 > Hello. I am glad you liked it and it could comfort you a little bit.

(those train-songs are all part of the experience - it kinda sticks to your brain because

    you here them everywhere.)

Even you were sad to go home to Germany, you were pretty lucky you werent there

at the time the quake hit. Have a nice day!

  • Apparently 6 people are just upset that they've never been to Japan...

  • @stevethefishdotnet > Haha.... I know what you mean! (^_-)

  • Dear Tommy,

Do you have an eBay Auction page?

    Cheers.

    from,

    del-boy

  • @Call1800POO > Im sorry, unfortunately I dont have an Ebay Auction page.

  • @Call1800POO

    No Sale !

  • @chorltonlad Haha.... thats funny, perhaps you should have changed the ringtone during your visit! ^_-

However, every station doesnt have this melody, but not all stations have their own unique melody,

so some of the melodies are re-used. Some of the yamanote-melodies are even re-used on other lines such as sobu and chuo line. (the yellow and orange lines!

    Happy new year!

  • i love and miss the tokyo, shinjuku and akihabara sound so much T____T

    thanks for sharing this!!!

  • @yashirosama >>> You are welcome - I am glad you like it ! ^^

  • @thomasgotschalk wow this brings back so many good memories ...thanks sooo much for the post. Too bad you didnt have a Sakura Station one...

  • @sjmmrcrdd > You are most welcome - im glad you like it. ^_-

  • i have hamamatsucho and it sounds like the akihabara one... i can't tell the difference

  • @kmah88 Thats strange. I dont have the Hamamatsucho, so I cant really tell.....X_x

  • @kmah88

Many songs are used more than once.

  • how about ikebukuro......? =(

  • @valerieshah > Sorry, I dont have that one. (do you like the Ikebukuro one?)

  • i have a harajuku one ;)

  • @BoA258 >>> Cool ! (^_-)v

  • 山手線コンプリートですかwwwこんなのあるんですね~

  • as if we didnt hear these enough ?

  • @veuvecliquot Well, if you dont live in Japan, I guess you dont hear them enough!

(why did you click the video if you hear them enough?) ^_-

  • @thomasgotschalk wanted to see what this was brah

  • I'm being admittedly rather nerdy, but you need to take the Ebisu and Akihabara keychains back for a refund - all Ebisu melodies are Ebisu beer commercial jingles (the melody programmed in the keychain is standard for much of the Chuo line rapid heading out west), and why the Akihabara chain has been given the generic 'unimportant Yamanote station' melody is beyond all comprehension. Get a refund :)

  • @metallicism >>> Haha... :-) I understand why you say it, but im sorry - you are wrong. If you look at the soundpods, the direction of the green arrow indicates, if its the song for going clockwise or anticlockwise. (as the songs are different, depending on the direction.)

  • @thomasgotschalk ... having lived and breathed akihabara and ebisu stations for a very long time, i can say with confidence that you are in fact wrong, without the need to say sorry. you are right about departure melodies being different, it doesn't mean you're right about what they are though. watch?v=-GvIUlVRnmY and watch?v=SIzavDRDGpg are akihabara's current melodies. jr ebisu station on the other hand only has ebisu beer jingles on all platforms, be that saikyo, yamanote, rinkai, whatever.

  • @metallicism >>> Soundpods never lies - NEVER!

  • @thomasgotschalk get yourself a refund. the keychains have the wrong chips.

  • LOL i LOVE gotanda, i used 2 get off their all the time and just sing with it AHAHA I STILL SING IT NOW WHEN I GET ON THE TRAIN!! LOL

  • i love ebisu's and akihabara's =DDD

  • @grakify - Me too... I love them all!!!! (^_-)

  • These are really cute! I had no idea you could buy them, I know what I'm purchasing on my next trip! Do they tell which stations they're from too?

  • @ShiverZ66 > It written on them which stations they're from. (both in Japanese and English) ^^

  • where can i get these things?? I love the Shinjuku one

  • Hi... If you're in Japan you can get them at Tokyu Hands and Yamashiroya. Otherwise the best bet would be Ebay. ^^

  • I'll pick them up when I go to Japan this August. thanks!

  • @ichinensei2 > Thats nice, please have a great trip! ^^

  • do they have these for tokyo metro as well? I want the Shinjuku Sanchome one!!

  • @nzSkitzo: Im afraid I dont recall seeing any for Tokyo Metro. So far i've seen all for Yamanote, and a some for Chuo-, Keihin Tohoku-, and Yokohama-line.

  • why do you want sanchome hehehe.... I have not seen them for the metro either.

  • My brother flew in from korea today. And got me the Shinjuku - yoyogi version on his stop over in tokyo.

  • >>>Thats great... Good for you! ^_-

  • I got the Shinagawa one. :)

  • Cool ^_-

Now they released the "songs" from Yokohama-Line as well.

  • I looove the Gotanda one! :D I've already said this, but my comment seems to have disappeared. :( I just went and ordered it online haha. :)

  • -And i've already said this too - but its my favorite too! ^_-

    (How many did you order???)

  • Just one, the Gotanda one. Will be a great addition to my keychain haha :D. Oh the memories those melodies bring back..

  • soo? xD that´s good hehe so and i can laugh =)

  • thats so

    nasty!! wehheeee*cry* =(

  • so

かわいい!!! want it want it !

  • -then go get it - get it.... hehe.... ^^

  • 1000 Clicks? Nice. - Thanks everyone!!! ^^

  • Ok thanks for the reply. :)

  • Man I would love to get some of these keychains. Tokyo, Akihabara and Shibuya are my favorites. But unfortunately I can't read Japanese so unless I can find a site where it has english I won't be able to buy them. :(

  • Maybe you would be able to find them on Ebay or someplace like that - other than that, i only know shops in Tokyo thats sells them.... (If i hear of someplace that sells them i will let you know!)

  • Oh man I would love to get these keychains! I really want the Tokyo, Akihabara, and Shibuya. I'd buy them but I can't read any Japanese on the sites.

  • Oh thats not the Ebisu music that I want... sad.......

  • You want the Ebisu-music when going the other direction? (the "Western"-style music?)

  • gotanda is my fav haha :) i should've gotten one of those before i left japan :(

  • -Thats my favorite too in fact! :-)

  • uhhhhh u are so lucky i want all the sound tracks for the JR and Tokyo Metro Stations lol

  • I think only 18 of the 29 yamanote-line stations are available - but i think its because some of the stations uses the same melodies, and others are...erm... "less interesting" ;-)
