I've had my fare share of crickets from raw to roasted(I prefer the roasted, taste like peanuts or cashews) as well as meal worms which also have a "nutty" flavor.

Octopus, but thats only nasty if its cooked too long.

All in all the nastiest thing I've eaten, or drank rather was water from my turtles tank.

I couldn't get the siphon going during a water change and ended up with a mouthful of turtle funk filled water.

When I lived in China I had some pretty weird stuff it´s hard to know what was the weirdest thing but I´d say that it must have been in Guolizhuang. You can eat almost any kind of penis there from dog to the exotic "Dragon in the Flame of Desire" I ask a chef to show us the preparation of a penis first.
