The United Kingdoms Joined the European Community in 1973. At the time, perhaps Great Britain didn't know that the EC was going to change into the EU.

Just because I said the USA was not needed in WW2 you presume that I am pro-USSR? I am not pro USSR, Socialism is bound to fail so democracy in Europe would have been reinstalled. The United Kingdom abolished slavery without having a civil war, why couldn't America?
Their is no good reason for the EU to exist, but their are plenty of reasons to abolish it.

Calling the EU a EUSSR and making that your main argument is not going to change your position. You need to build solid arguments. For example: when I said "The UK joined the European Community, & wasn't told anything about a European Union." That is a defensible argument. Try to gather more things like that.

Undemocratic would mean the EU use secret police, tanks and other means to oppress the people. It doesn't do that.
The EU doesn't use the consent of the people because that is what the people chose. If the people wanted to have more say in the EU, they should have said yes to the Constitution. A constitution is the bases of Democracy, and it would have protected your voting rights. I guess the jokes on you.

Although every governments have some type of laws or rules written down, that doesn't make those written documents "constitutions". If I write on a paper that I have the right to have every girls in the world and then become president of a nation, that won't make my paper a constitution.

As for the USA, yes they are a Republic. But that doesn't mean it isn't a Democracy. France is a republic, but that doesn't mean they aren't a Democracy. A Republic is no different from what Great Britain has. The only difference is that Republics don't want any monarchs to govern their countries. That's all.
The EU is nether a Republic nor constitutional monarchy, but only a Union of both.
