  • look ay the size of those cars! man energy must have been cheap back then to use so much of it!

  • This scene is funnier than the decapitation edit.

  • I wish we could seen how Johnny and the others reacted to the Miyagi-Kreese confrontation. As soon as hes won, him and daniel just walk off and we don't see their reaction or what happened next.....

  • 3 people have been honked in the nose by Mr. Miyagi.

  • Never underestimate asian dudes :P

  • where is his girlfriend and mom?

  • @sauhlo Daniel's mom is on the first and third films. Regarding his girlfriends, Ali broke up with him because at the senior prom, she decided to date another guy which is why Daniel and Ali broke up. On the second film, Daniel's girlfriend named Kumiko kind of broke up with him because she wanted to live in Okinawa for the rest of her life and not move to the states even though Daniel would have loved if she did. On the third film, he only had a friend named Jessica and not a girlfriend.

  • @afriendofbean haha, good answer... but I was asking why his mother and girlfriend aren't in this scene, if it is supposed that Daniel has just win an important tournament and neither his mom nor girlfriend was there to celebrate or just support him. Regards.

  • @sauhlo Sorry for the misunderstanding. As soon as the tournament ended, Daniel was taking a shower with Mr. Miyagi waiting in the dressing room and as soon as they got outside to the parking lot, Mr. Miyagi mentioned that Daniel's mom is waiting for them at a restaurant where maybe Daniel's girlfriend Ali was with his mom waiting at the restaurant too. This must be the reason why both of them aren't in this scene.

  • @sauhlo It was mentioned by Miyagi in the parking lot that the pair were waiting for him and Daniel at a restaurant or diner for a bit of a celebration.

  • I think Mike will kill Johnny

  • Miyagi very wise, also, he used the best defense...he was not there when the punch was thrown. :D

  • @therussell1100 true

  • all of those students were under 18 in the story. He would have gotten in a lot of trouble hurting minors.

  • @babykevinxoxo not when he was saving another teenager for the minors that was trying to kill him ...

  • @TheSteelersrock1010 I was talking about kreese

  • @TheSteelersrock1010 well thats true ...i thought you was talking about mr miyagi when he beat the shit out of the cobra kai when they was beating up daniel...my bad

  • Even though this was a particular bloody scene, it had a very good lesson and message. If you have no honor, just go crawl in a hole somewhere and die. You also found out how sick and disturbed Kreese really was. He even scared his own students when he put Johnny in that stranglehold just for getting second place in the tournament that night. Johnny even saw the light too! It was cool seeing Miyagi come to his rescue.

  • They could even have had the Johnny and the others rescue Daniel from Mike in one scene...

  • This scene did a good job of conveying Tommy as more down to earth. We already knew that Bobby wasn't really like them anyway. But the third film could have done more in showing Dutch in particular, having reformed. I often imagine in the third film, a speech by the bullies in the tournament in which they like shout to the crowd, "Don't listen to them! We were once his students, we never understood what he was really like!" and if they actually inspired the crowd to cheer for Daniel even more..

  • I'l never understand why Johnny and the cobras weren't in the third film! After the tournament and this scene, it would have made sense to have them come back and help Daniel! It was pretty stupid that you never saw how Daniel's relationship with them changed and how school went for him afterwards but they never got to redeem themselves. We don't even find out they left Kreese until the third film. I reckon it would have been awesome if they were cheering Daniel on at the end of the third one.

  • @satmandoo I guess the reason why Johnny and the rest of the Cobras weren't on the third film was because, once they all graduated from High School with Daniel, they all went to colleges far away. (I'm sure Daniel would have seen them more and hung out with them as friends if Daniel didn't go away to Okinawa for the summer with Mr. Miyagi. Probably as Daniel and Mr. Miyagi were in Okinawa, John Kreese was suffering and waiting for students to come for class where on the third film he gave up).

  • "Oy... let him go." Myagi was something else, lol. The new Karate Kid with Jackie Chan and the Smith kid was goofy, proof you really can't remake an original. Pat Morita (Myagi) actually didn't talk the way he did in the movie in real life... if anyone didn't know. I always loved this scene.

  • He. Didn't. Even. Flinch.

  • i hope jackie chan and jaden smith will have a karate kid part 2 like this. do you guys think they will have a sequal like this? please reply yes or no so i can see what everyone else thinks

  • "You could have killed him, couldn't you?"

    "Oi"

    "Well why didn't you then?"

"Because Daniel-San, Miyagi no want to go to jail for second degree murder."

  • If at first you don't succeed just punch out another window...

  • Then kreese finds out the car he broke the window of belonged to Ip man

  • @fishpig20 or wong fei hung

  • Great scene indeed Rest in peace Pat Morita Thx for all the wonderful memories you brought us.

  • A great scene of the 80's

  • hoooonk

  • Miyagi proper owns Kreese here.

  • Comment removed

  • lol, who pays for the windows?

  • Lol mind your bussiness ... That other kid needed to be pimped slap

He was getting on my nerve

  • wouldn't in real life kreese would go to jail for what he did to Johnny?

  • @Duckcallerfanatic yes and he would of gone to jail for teaching the Kobra Kai to fight dirty, teaching to fight dirty is like against the law in the martial arts world

  • @clownsrback1 How long would Kreese go to jail for what he did to johnny?

  • @Duckcallerfanatic idk how long hed go for, and Kreese is an adult johnny is a teen or so its implied that hes a teen so Kreese would of been charged with assault to a minor.

  • @Duckcallerfanatic Yep in reality he would be charged with assault, even better instead, he got owned here by Miyagi, went to hospital with two broken knuckles, plus he probably got a bill for the huge damages he did to some poor souls car window Lol.

  • John Kreese (& Terry Silver) is a disgrace to all Karate!

    Cobra Kai Sucks Balls!!

  • @sparta814 Yep there karate technique's are brutal, not to mention illegal, where as Miyagi's teaches it simple and is credit to all Karate.

  • @MeBenHalpin

    That's right.

and Btw, What kind of a name is Cobra Kai anyway???

That's sounds like a damn Yakuza(Japanese mafia) name to me.

  • @sparta814 Lol it is pretty awful, like the part about Japenese mafia name.

  • at 1:16 I laughted so hard. Self disarmed (or dishanded, lol) with pure shame.

  • Slope

  • Part 2 wasn't that bad just not great.

  • This reminds me of Final Fight when you got to the "break a car" stage and, if successful, some dipshit would walk up and cry "oh, my car!"

  • '' beat it slope or your next '' , lol what a racist bastard

  • and I agree with AVGN, why the hell would Daniel ask "Why didn't you kill him?" He obviously didn't want to go to jail dumbass lol

  • Comment removed

  • What a load of bullshit

  • LMAO he didn't even have to touch him!

  • Comment removed

  • Someone is going to be really pissed off when they find some jackass put his fist through the window of their car.

  • WHY DIDN'T I SEE THIS IN THE MOVIE??? >:(

  • @MerryGo528491 if you where watching karate kid 1 yeh its not in there because they took it out and put it at the start of karate kid 2

  • @MerryGo528491 It's not in the first movie; this appears in the second movie.

  • honk...XDDDDDDD

  • JOHN KREESE IS A REAL SADIST.

  • "You could have killed him, couldn't you?"

    "Hai."

    "Well, why didn't you, then?"

What the hell kind of question is that?

  • @TheCommonCritic Lol that was pretty dumb question from Daniel San, well why didn't you then?.

  • Sensei, 1 person is sorry, they really are ;)

  • There will only be one Karate Kid and it's not Hilary Swank or Jaden Smith, it's Ralph Maccio (sp?)

  • I died at "honk"

  • holy shit i never noticed he calls him a slope! nice bit of family entertainment lmao!

  • pimp-slapping tommy was totally uncalled for.

  • Press 3 for bitch slap.Press 8 For *Wink*

  • Dutch just turned away and didn't care that Johnny was choking to DEATH.And Jimmy never said anything in the whole movie. You can see Dutch turn aroubd behind Kreese at 0:26.The one with the hat on.And bitch slap at 0:41

  • @gogetaX50 Dutch was the only one out of the five that I actually thought was a dickhead without any of Kreese's influence! The idea is that they were all badly taught and misguided, not sure Kreese had anything to do with Dutch being a prick!

  • @satmandoo Wouldn't surprise me if Dutch was Kreese's son. LOL

  • @gogetaX50 I think they had dutch turn around because it wasn't the same actor, maybe they couldn't get him for the second movie, notice he has the bill of his hat cover most of hist face... I don't know though

  • so i take it kreese payed to replace those windows?

  • IM MR. MIYAGI BEEEEYYOTCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:57

nice what he say in that part.

    i never forget that

  • head bands was cool back in the days!

  • I don't know why Jimmy was even in it! He doesn't say a single word in the entire film. They could just have had the four cobras caus thats enough for Daniel to deal with anyway. Hell, one bully is bad enough! But Jimmy at least did look somewhat concerned, Dutch just doesn't react and has already turned away anyway.

  • I don't get why Jimmy and Dutch don't seem to give a crap about Johnny getting almost choked to death, Jimmy just stands there and Dutch just turns away, pricks! Bobby tried to help and I have to say Tommy really showed his good side in this scene and did his best to help Johnny. Even acknowledged Miyagi as well!

  • @satmandoo For real, yall...especially that ruthless Dutch. I watched Karate Kid (1984) sometime last week and I notice Johnny, Bobby and Tommy together in most of de scene. Sometime you see Jimmy but wont really notice him because he's the quiet on, only say one or two statement/s for de whole show...and Dutch is with the gang but doesn't show much support with them, especially when Johnny almost being chocked to death by Kreese.

  • Honk!

  • MIYAGI > NORRIS

  • @CapitalBhoy78 I think they two would have made great friends.

  • As a second degree black belt, I've been confronted on the streets four times. All I had to do was go into my fighting stance and the fight was over as my opponent walked away from me.

I won all four fights without laying a hand on anyone.

Miyagi is absolutely right that the reason you learn karate is so you don't have to fight.

    R.I.P. Pat Morita.

  • They then have Ali break up with him after showing some of their good times together over the last few months, and actually have her give a good reason, like how theyre not going to see each other etc. She should be just as upset, instead of fking off with the footballer...then they move on to the okinawa plot which we have in the second one....

  • "Those who act ruthlessly and then fear retaliation are the pinnacle of stupidity."

    -Sun Tzu

  • HONK

i laughed so hard the first time i saw that

  • I always liked how the villains in Karate Kid were a bit more nuanced and not just portrayed as black/white, evil/good. They show hints of compassion and conscience throughout the movie. In the halloween fight, one of them tells Johnny not to beat up Daniel anymore. In the final tournament, that one guy apologizes to Daniel for hurting his leg. And this scene reveals they're not bad kids, just had a lousy teacher. Its more much realistic and interesting when the bad guys are not so static

  • I always wished Johnny and his buddies would have come back in the third movie to back him up against Mike Barns. It sucks how you never see how the rest of the school year goes for Daniel. If they stay out of his way, or if they become his friends. Did the tournament help at all? I hope so, Johnny says "Your all right Larusso." but that could have been because Johnny didn't want to look like a sore loser.

  • @TheCrazyplaying That's what I thought, too; it would have been a more logical plot for the third movie. Seeing Johnny and Daniel trying to become friends could have made an interesting story.

  • @TheCrazyplaying Johnny, Bobby, Jimmy, Tommy, and Dutch gained respect for Daniel because he beat them all fair and square in the tournament. They also saw that Kreese was a cold hearted racist sore loser, and they all stopped going to his dojo. Barnes was just a mercenary hired by Terry Silver to exact revenge on Daniel and Miyagi all because Kreese wanted payback for being humiliated. There is no way Johnny's crew would ever ally themselves with Mike's crew. Mike had no honor. Johnny did.

  • @Surfer041 The thing is it's hard to pinpoint the exact moment when they gain respect for Daniel. In the final fight Tommy's shouting out GET HIM A BODY BAG etc and KILL HIM JOHNNY but then Daniel wins and suddenly they all respect him???

  • @satmandoo That was just testosterone talking, of course they are cheering for Johnny to win since they are his friends and fellow students. I think Daniel would have gained their respect even if Johnny had won the match. After seeing what Kreese does to Johnny is what makes the students realize what a monster he his.

  • @satmandoo I think after seeing Johnny respect Daniel at the end of the tournament after Daniel won, probably inspired the Cobra Kai's a bit more to respect Daniel, cause Johnny was their leader. Kreese was just their teacher, and having an asshole as a teacher doesn't help much.

  • @shawdawg28 I cannot for the life of me understand why they weren't in the third one. They should have been there to help Daniel out against Kreese, Silver and Barnes!

  • @TheCrazyplaying I'm sure it outraged Kreese something fierce when Johnny handed Daniel the trophy and said "You're all right Larusso!", but then again, I think most everything irritated Kreese.

  • @TheCrazyplaying Well i'm glad you made all those points because these are all things that have bothered me about the original films. This scene was supposed to end with the five of them throwing their belts down in front of Kreese and I think bowing to Miyagi...something like that. I wanted to know what happened with them next and with Daniel...but they should have been good guys in the third movie and helped him out, absolutely!!!

  • @satmandoo I personally think they should have started off the second movie with things going good for Daniel, isn't that what was supposed to happen after the tournament. But instead it started out with Daniel whining just like in the first movie. Wasn't Daniel's whole goal in the first movie to put balance in his life, well acording to the second movie that didn't happen, which ruins the first movie!!! Lol

  • @TheCrazyplaying Well yeah originally this scene in the car park was supposed to be the end of the first movie. And it should have been!!! But when they realised there was sequel potential they took it out and shoved it in at the start of this one. If this scene had ended the first one, then they could have started the second with daniel at school, near the end of the year, and how the cobras respected him etc, or were even friends, and how good life was....tbc

  • car window breaking scene??? Lol...

  • Had that been real life instead of a movie, I wonder how long a prideful, arrogant man like Kreese would have hidden from everyone; knowing full well that someone who was probably at or close to being called a senior citizen could have broken his neck, but instead honked his nose. No disrespect meant to senior citizens, btw. I loved that scene!

  • @erickramer4780 I have a feeling that Kreese came to a bad end: he probably either went to jail for some petty crime, or got killed in a shootout with police, or both.

  • classic scene

  • honk

  • I bet Kreese lied about serving in Vietnam.

  • @bertmustin ...Or maybe he was just a desk jockey. But yeah, I think so, too.

  • Thing is, this is supposed to be the moment where the five bullies throw down their belts in front of Kreese and change etc, but we don't really get to see this...we don't find out that they even quit until the next film....

  • i thought u were hating on daniel.if your hating on kreese thats a different story.hes psycho! respond

  • " why didn't you kill him"? Lol dan is so fucking stupid xD

  • @Guard655 if you want to hate go take it out on something else.this is a great movie

  • @rdfrds Lol Im hating? What the fuck man..

  • NOW WHY THE FUCK WOULD U JUST STARE AT UR BLOODY FISTS LOOOL

  • i always had a crush on Johnny Lawrence.

  • 1:40 is when Kreese came down with a severe case of RFC in his pants.

    RFC: Rapid Fill Condition.

  • and not a single fuck was given that day

  • Hahah

  • Bruce Lee: "You could call it the art of fighting without fighting."

  • What if at the end of Karate Kid 3, Kreese did the same thing to Mike Barnes like he did with Johnny in KK2. Do you think Mr. Miyagi would had saved Barnes and Barnes made peace with Daniel?

  • @good03boy depends.

  • 0:56 seconds in......comparing Kreese and Miyagi - pent up rage vs calm tranquility!!!

  • I'm not sure if I should be more impressed that he praticly destroyed his hand without screeming or lasted 5 seconds agains miagi

  • @Darkbeast42 lol

  • RIP Miyagi-san

  • they shouldve brought back the cobra kai to back daniel up in KK3. after they realized their teacher was a psycho, they couldve helped with his training

  • @crisvanfan Exactly what I thought!

  • I wonder if Miyagi didn't intervene if Kreese would have killed Jonny!

  • @computermaster

Kreese is such a loser, he's beating up a high school kid who came 2nd place in a Karate Tournament...

It's like Soccer Dads' gone wild, lol.

  • @gundamWWW Could've made the 11 o'clock news. A karate teacher assaults his students after a karate tournament where his prized defending champion lost. One of the victims, Bobby Brown had this to say....

  • @gundamWWW it does kind of weird when u say it like that.........But I agree!

  • @gundamWWW Makes you glad such people are very uncommon in sports like Karate.

  • @gundamWWW -brillant comment

  • Like the Halloween Night scene, amid the scuffle, the Japanese man, of all people, is the one left standing, unharmed! Go figure!

  • "Murrp" <3

  • Not only does Kreese lose the fight and his students, he now has to pay for those car windows.

  • @MegaLink08 Thing is, this scene doesn't tell us that he lost his students. We find out in the third one yeah but something i find annoying about this scene is not seeing his students reaction to what miyagi does...

  • Miyagi chumped the shit out of him (with his words).

    0:16 Still you.

  • 1:43 halarious

  • I guess Kreese never practiced breaking cinder blocks...

  • Best thing about Miyagi's strategy: hardly touched the guy.

  • "Karate ni sente nachi". Good lesson of "sabaki" Mr Miyagi

  • lol i like it when he honked his nose XD

  • two people came out to their cars and sang....just like a good neighbor.....

  • Okay, DON'T FUCK WITH KARATE TEACHERS THAT ARE ASIAN IF YOU ARE A KARATE TEACHER AND WHITE.

  • Miyagi made him piss loll best movie ever

  • Oh, great. Kreese has two broken hands and now he'll have to pay for the windows, too!

  • @BoyScout1960 That is not all he has to worry about, the cars belonged to Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee, it is a good thing Miyagi left his legs unharmed.

  • "Why didn't you kill him?"

"Because I don't want to spend the last few decades of my life in fucking prison!"

  • @p3rs0nan0ngrata LOL BEST COMMENT!

  • @p3rs0nan0ngrata Not necessarily. Kresse was assaulting that blond kid first. At worst Miyagi would have gotten manslaughter even if he had've killed him, maybe not even that. But in any case the point of this scene was that Kreese had to learn that Miyagi's way of thinking was superior to his own. A lesson he totally forgot in "Karate 3" actually, but, hey, part 3 was the worst sequel anyway.

  • @p3rs0nan0ngrata Well thanks to you people in Starbucks think I'm fucking looney. xD

  • @p3rs0nan0ngrata LOL! I just spit wine all over my monitor. Thanks...

  • @p3rs0nan0ngrata More like "he wasn't even challenge for me"

  • Big mistake was using the racial slur

  • @acdc30450 In the first movie, a couple of rednecks refer to Migayi as Daniel's "pet Nip."

  • Oh my god, think of how much law suits there will be against him!

  • @39unknown93 Miyagi did not do any damage to Kreese or the cars. Kreese was the one who punched out both car windows, Miyagi just stepped out of the way, he never even touched the cars. Kreese would be charged for assault of a minor Johnny lawrence and damage to the two cars. It would be funny if the cars belonged to Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee respectively.

  • @acdc30450 I was not talking about Miyagi, I was talking about Kreese

  • @39unknown93 My bad

  • "A life without a nose is worse punishment than death."

  • Today, this whole movie franchise would be academic. Daniel would eventually have just pulled a .22 semiauto from his pocket and killed Johnny.

  • He did touch him.

  • @Maruuna He did touch him but he was already defeated.

  • @Maruuna He did touch him but not to beat the shit out of him he just let him beat himself up by punching car windows he was already taken down
