Add Evan plus Nick, then you have replacements for Gene and Paul in Kiss. Crazy idea but when you put Gene and Pauls business ideas together theres no telling what can happen

@daggergblue Nah, I wouldn't. Roadies are like that and you get them all over you all the time if you don't learn to mute your knobs yourself. Trust me. Y'see, there's plenty guitar players who do the knob thing and it's totally common, especially if you have something as noisy as lights goin' on. Unless you want to have the sound man or a roadie do it for you somewhere else, in the board or in your rig, it's common practice you use the knobs.

Father - Son time on guitar is something wonderful. I share this with my wonderful son and great guitar player James who's 17. I can honestly say it's the most fun we ever have except when we go to see Joe Satriani & Eric Johnson, Van Halen, Chickenfoot, most recently KISS!!! (then a Steelers game since) and these times are great but when we play music together and look at each other and smile it's cool. I enjoyed seeing Paul's pride and gleam in his eye. (Gene's too 4 Nick) cuz I know it.

Some people seem to be getting a bit touchy and judgmental about this vid. Odd. To me it just looks like a proud dad having some quality time with his kid, having a blues jam and giving him a moment in the sun. I almost fell on the floor when I saw Gene Simmons in there participating.

There are plenty of people who Sing and play..If you want to call what Paul Stanley does playing. Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains plays lead and sings.. Geddy Lee from Rush plays Bass 20 times better than Stanley ever thought of playing guitar, sings, and plays moog pedals with his feet all at the same time. Evan Stanley already out plays his dad Paul. Paul Stanley holds a guitar as a prop. As long as he has been playing why has he never taken over the lead? They anyone could play his rythem

@gossett2006 Ouch...some one is alittle touchy about his hero.. Thier current lead guitar player and drummer are hired musicians. not actually vested members of the band like Ace and Peter were. Rush and Alice in Chain are putting out new music still. You accuse others of having no musical wit when you belive Paul Stanley to be a great Musician...lmao You have no idea what a musician is. Make up, Spandex, and Dancing around with a bunch of stage effects does not make you a musician.

@gossett2006 Dude you have some issues... No one cares if you can play, no one cares if I can play. Niether of us being able to play is going to change the fact that Paul Stanley sucks at playing. You can't save him. He has had 40+ years to get better he has chosen not to. Let it go,, move on with your life. Go listen to some Randy Rhoads, or even some David Gilmore and remind yourself of what real guitar playing sounds like. I am done with this conversation.

Reading people's remarks got me hot. First of all, all no talent hacks who say Paul isn't good - go video yourself playing a song AND SINGING IT AT THE SAME TIME!!! You can't. Even if you play good, you can't sing good WITHOUT LOTS OF PRACTICE AND TALENT. Can you do either well, alone? No. PAUL HAS FOR 40 YEARS! The new generation can't rock & sing. Rap is just CRAP without the C. Who can do what Paul Stanley does, now; WHO?!? Who can play good and sing good? & who does both like Paul? WHO?

Father - Son time on guitar is something wonderful. I share this with my wonderful son and great guitar player James who's 17. I can honestly say it's the most fun we ever have except when we go to see Joe Satriani & Eric Johnson, Van Halen, Chickenfoot, most recently KISS!!! (then a Steelers game since) and these times are great but when we play music together and look at each other and smile it's cool. I enjoyed seeing Paul's pride and gleam in his eye. (Gene's too 4 Nick) cuz I know it.

You just inspired me. See, I put out unreleased Van Halen song videos. I have several ballads Paul Stanley has done that PROVE you wrong. His released work does - this sounds too BOLTON-ish to be KISS but it's GREAT, GREAT STUFF. YOU COULDN'T BE MORE WRONG.

@gossett2006 My son has only been playing guitar for 6 months and he can out play Paul STANLEY << ( Better you happy now? ) His own kid already out plays him. Stanley may be a good song writer, and singer. But I was reffering to his guitar playing vs his son's..or anyone's for that matter, and HE SUCKS he uses a gutar as a prop. He should not even be allowed to have it plugged in. KISS has to hire real musicians to cover his and Simmons lack of being able tp play worth a crap.

And who are these musicians who play for KISS? Where's your proof? Show me this in print or on video. To wit, though, just listen to "I've Had Enough (Into The Fire)" for one hell of a rocker, "Tonight You Belong To Me" for the HEART of his total sound, "Hold Me, Touch Me" for one hell of a ballad, "Jungle" for toughness to the max, "Heaven's On Fire" and "Lick It Up" for the Cock Rock All Time anthems, "Modern Day Delilah" for proof of his CURRENT talent, AND "Reason To Live" as his ALL TIME BEST BALLAD. I think ballads reveal most.
