@ripster100 The ancient Greek word for "worker" is O EPΓAΣTHPIAKOΣ. If the subject is masculine, use O EPΓAΣTHPIAKOΣ. If the subject is feminine, use H EPΓAΣTHPIAKH. If the subject is neuter, use TO EPΓAΣTHPIAKON. Hope this help. Kostas.
@kakosuranosx thanks again Kosta, one more guestion, How did the ancients know where to use exclamation marks, ie dasia etc. or didnt they use them? and if they didnt use them how did they pronounce the words?
@ripster100 We don't actually have a clear idea on how the Ancients used to use marks because punctuation didnt exist. Most that we know about pronunciation, punctuation and intonation is post classic, and it is not the same thing. That's the reason we have to adapt Ancient Greek to Modern Greek sometimes. In the other hand, they left many rules on how to use the spirits, and that's very useful because it is a significant find about the ancient greek pronunciation.

hey mate, great tutorials... just a quick question.
when you say "the time is the healer of bad things".. the last bit "ton PON-on es-TIN" you don't really pronounce the N at the end of "Pon-on"... is there a grammar reason for that, or is that because you speak too fast.
@KalElTheGreat Hi! Thanks for your comment! Well, it's hard to be so Ancient once I am so Modern. Never ready a rule about it cuz most of them are just hypothesis. I think they pronounced all the letters and spoke more slow that time but, to me is kind of hard to do it. We speak different these days. To avoid my greek accent is kind of like being another person, and thats really weird. However, if you say the N or not I can get it as the same way, and that means it makes no difference. :)
@KalElTheGreat Mate,yes its ponon but in the specific phrases wouldnt make any sense,due to the fact that ponon is the person who suffers.I dont know if you can get my point! hope i have helped.
This is an awsome tutorial! I've been working on a program that allows you to color the grammar in verious languages, including Ancient Greek. It is beta now, but if you want to check it out, do a google search for tachufind. I have always have trouble with learning grammar . . .
whats the difference in meaning between "doulos" and "sklavos"......
ripster100 1 month ago
@ripster100
Hi there!
The difference is simple. In Ancient Greek, the word for "slave'' is ''ΔOYLOΣ''. In Modern Greek, the word for ''slave'' is ''Σκλάβος".
Hope this help.

this a great demonstration guide. This is a fantastic resource for beginners.
Keep up the great work.
