i've served in iraq and afghanistan, and i consider myself fortunate to have served alongside some of the greatest men and women the world will ever know. i carry my own personal scars from those conflicts with me every day but i wouldn't change my experiences for anything. I went there to do a job, to stop certain people bringing danger to these shores, and I would do it all again if called upon. It was for the greater good.
Greater Love has no man than this, To lay down His life for his friends.
This is it. There is no argument, or expression of the opinion from those who are quick to speak of politics. This is eternity. This is love that overcomes hate. By giving of itself.
I would say beautiful, and gut wrenching good. But all I can say is, good poem.

he never raised his right arm and said that he will support and defend the us of a. when he was joining the army the recruiters told him that he would be building bridges and the only way that he would be going to war is if there were enemy soldiers fighting in america. he never agreed to fight in that dumbass war, so why the hell should he have to?
umm wow... i dont know what to say about this apart from it made me cry, im 19 and im in the british army REME regiment and i have just come back from a 6 month tour. This video means alot to me as it says alot about my mates & me, my friends who are not with me any longer shall be remembered until the end
Because it would harm innocent civilians as well as the Taliban and terrorists. We also couldn't get the civilians out becasue terrorists will disguise themselves.
We will never beat terrorists. They will always be roaming around planning another attack.
i think that so many people forget about the RAF Regiment being there because so many people just think that the army is there which is very sad. when i leave college i hope to join the RAF as a pilot but i have often thought about becoming a RAF Regiment Sniper
becasue you dont understand, and never will until you have been there, until you have had families grown men with kids crying for you to help them, just to give them some food. Thats why we wont pull out. We are doing good, no matter wat you think and im proud myself and my boys.
JoshJC123. There are many countries in the situation you describe, Somalia for instance. This is not a reason to stay there. What our troops need is to be better looked after by this government so that they can do the job they are paid to do, without the risks they run every day. Look for a report by a Major Miller of the Intelligence Corps in the recent Military review. Daily Telegraph - 20 June. This will help put it in perspective for you. God Bless our Troops.
Probably because Mr. Brown doesn't give a t0ss about any thing other than himself. Everyone knows we are just wasting precious lives and resources fighting a war we cannot win. Either equip the forces properly or get the hell out. Simple really isn't it!
You have made the right decision, in this economic climate work can be hard to come by. As long as you show the right level of commitment, you cannot fail but to have a long and happy career. Always remember, your training will see you through the toughest of times, never forget it, or try to take short-cuts. Best of Luck.
Does it make me less of a man if I cried my eyes out? Heh, This is such a moving story, I liked how brutal you made the soldier's death, it made his sacrifice so much more heart wrenching and worth it. You Brits are great allies I'll never forget the sacrifices you've made beside us, I wish this war never took place to be honest but I hope we leave Iraq a better place then when we found it, like I said I'm glad you brits fought beside us, you always have our backs and we will always have yours.
This is the sort of reply that makes it all worthwhile. We have now initiated the best training ground in the world for insurgents and there are many misguided millions that would go there and happily die. We need to either pull out totally, or go all in and get it over and done with. We do watch each others backs and rely heavily on each other, long may this happen. Respect...
Amazing, great video, very well done. I hope you don't mind but this is going straight up on my bebo, myspace, facebook and anything else i can use it on. Again this is amazing!
It was something I had never tried before, and did take many runs until it was something like what I wanted. The end result could have been better but it was only done on my little home PC with a mic and a few programs I had to learn quite fast. But thanks for showing your appreciation.
Nice vid, thanks for sharing it with us. It looks like you put a lot of hard work into making it. Good job on matching pictures with lines from the poem.
well done with making this video i am joining the army in march but i am not joining to go out and kill people for fun but i am joining to help those who are in need of help and safety. i just hope that this bloody conflict will end soon and stop the deaths of those who put there lifes on the line for others ...
Glad you liked the video. You are joining for all the right reasons. Training and correct drills are the key to survival out there. We all hope this conflict will end soon, what we get out of it is anyone's guess, I just hope the end justifies the means.
You do what needs to be done, what you are trained and paid for to do, the only exception is that in doing so, you put your lives on the line, not just once, but every day you are out there. That's the difference, and that's what makes you all hero's.
Thanks ever so much for posting this video, very inspirational, i hope to join the army, your poem is amazing, like willow i am speachless ... thanks alot
You are most welcome. Remember, what you are about to do takes a lot of courage, listen to what you are taught, it may save your life one day. Good luck and take care.

joshua key is no hero, he's a war deserter and a coward.
