There's lots of laws I don't believe in but I believe what I see, and what others have reported seeing if they appear to be honest. If something is in the woods and it looks human but is covered in hair I say it's a Sasquatch. Seeing is believing, that's the way I roll and I don't trust all of the lawmakers.

They have their pals in an ape suit running around in the woods. I do think it's a possiblity of an unknown species to exist that hasn't been discovered but at the same time I'm not going to fall prey to someone's prank just because one has a strong desire to believe.
@sandysandsable In the early 1990's, a type of antelope/deer was discovered in southeast asia called the Saola aka Asian Unicorn. Though western culture didn't know of it's existence, the locals always new of it. That's why I'm open minded about a possible existence of Bigfoot. But I exercise caution to photos ,video or plaster cast of a foot because it could be a prank or a misidentication. Some states have passed laws to protect a Bigfoot which opens my mind to possibles.

Not to mention, not only would I have a longer arm length proportionally, but I would have a longer arm length over all, and a much larger body. This individual in the picture, if it has a 22" arm and 18.75" torso...would be very small by comparison. Not that much more than 5'4".

@sonbuhitsunei I seen the measurements they did on this from a scaled picture of it and it's from the wrists not the finger tips like you have measured. The arms are somewhat longer proportionaly when compared to human arms. Not that anyone really knows anything about the actual proportions of a Sasquatch.
The ratio of my arm length to torso length is roughly 5/4 (5 to 4) - the ratio the OP says was worked out by scientists given a limb length of 22" and 18 and 3/4ths inch torso would be about 5.5 to 4.7 - so the ratio of my arms compared to my torso would actually be GREATER than the supposed squatch - meaning I, a human male, have a LONGER proportional arm to body ratio than this sasquatch, which is supposed to have really long arms. Sheesh. Think, people.
sigh....is there a single scientific mind left in the world? Simply because something *looks* to you like what you want it to be (the mind sees what it wants to) does not mean there isn't an alternative. To me, this looks very much like a guy bending over- the proportions ARE well within human range. The OP says the arm length was worked out to be 22 inches with an 18.5" torso...I just measured my arm at 30" from shoulder to finger, and my torso at over 24. I'm only 6'2", certainly no squatch.
It only makes sense that a bigfoot child at a certain age would be close to the size of a chimp. Give it a few years and it'll be better at hiding from cameras.
This is most definitely not a bear for anyone who wants to claim that. It looks like a young ape playing around. What's interesting is that a juvenile bigfoot is roughly the size of a grown male chimp. These are elusive creatures that can most probably climb trees and are extremely rare in numbers, thus making it difficult to film/catch. With the number of cameras and cell phone cameras that people have these days I believe it's only a matter of time before we have conclusive evidence.

People get exotic animals when they are very young and when they become adults these pets become unruly so they release them in the wild. The South Florida is full of Burmeese Pythons and other critters because of that. My guess is it's a chimp.

@MrTmel123 They came from near where I live from a hunter that didn't know what it was. Somebody had to tell him it was a Sasqautch so I don't think it was fake. He was on an interview I seen on television and he seemed very honest and sincere.

@saljesraf You're right, I never seen anything like that in the woods and I've seen a lot of different critters in my life. It was either a severely deformed, part human, freak of nature, or one of those Sasquatch everyone was seeing around there.
@saljesraf First off, the illustration is made to prove a point, it's not an truthful representation. Second, the angle of the animal in relation to the camera makes the body appear shorter than it actually is. Second, those shoulders are entirely consistent with a bear's. It is not a biped, it is not a primate. It's a bear.
Finally, anecdotes and supposed eyewitnesses are worth diddly squat. However, multiple sightings in the same area support the idea of there being one individual.

Give me one source that has gone there and calculated its body was longer than its limbs. Not even the Pennsylvania Game Commission could do that, and they were trying hard because everybody was crazy scared when this happened. They even looked for it and couldn't find it anywhere in those woods.

They had a preconceived idea of what it should be and essentially superimposed it on something they couldn't identify. Any conclusion drawn based on confirmation bias should be disregarded.
If there's something out there, it should be possible to find it as there must be more than one. A single sighting disproves the hypothesis that it's a question of an entire species.
@SAsgarters It is you that is guessing, the angle was taken into consideration when this thing was measured and they staked out the ground where it was. It's not about just a single sighting there has been many sightings. To me that proves there is something out there and it's smarter than we are.

So with other sightings of Bigfoot there Occam says it's simply another Bigfoot.

bigfoot is not a new primate, but rather an old one. It is simply a more prehistorically adapted man. The men of the ancient first ages were huge beyond belief, as well as powerful.

@brickflic I live in Bradford that's why these are so rare it's the only clear photo of a young one ever. We are lucky it was taken here. They say they have tried and tried but could never get its picture again. There have been other sightings around us of adult ones years ago that I could show you.

You have to keep an open mind, just because they don't have one doesn't mean they're not real. That's so non-scientific because there's plenty of eye witnesses that have seen and heard them. The legs and arms are to long for a bear with disease. Maybe it was something that was drinking toxic waste from the Pennsylvania gas wells every one is complaining about. This is most definitely not a bear for anyone who wants to claim that. It looks like a young ape playing around. What's interesting is that a juvenile bigfoot is roughly the size of a grown male chimp. These are elusive creatures that can most probably climb trees and are extremely rare in numbers, thus making it difficult to film/catch. With the number of cameras and cell phone cameras that people have these days I believe it's only a matter of time before we have conclusive evidence.

People get exotic animals when they are very young and when they become adults these pets become unruly so they release them in the wild. The South Florida is full of Burmeese Pythons and other critters because of that. My guess is it's a chimp.

The arms appearing long is also entirely consistent with malnourishment. In addition, the animal is clrealy quadrupedal and the fact that not a single "bigfoot" has ever been found, anywhere, rules it out as a plausible candidate.

Second, the angle of the animal in relation to the camera makes the body appear shorter than it actually is. Second, those shoulders are entirely consistent with a bear's. It is not a biped, it is not a primate. It's a bear.
Finally, anecdotes and supposed eyewitnesses are worth diddly squat. However, multiple sightings in the same area support the idea of there being one individual.

Give me one source that has gone there and calculated its body was longer than its limbs. Not even the Pennsylvania Game Commission could do that, and they were trying hard because everybody was crazy scared when this happened. They even looked for it and couldn't find it anywhere in those woods.

They had a preconceived idea of what it should be and essentially superimposed it on something they couldn't identify. Any conclusion drawn based on confirmation bias should be disregarded.
If there's something out there, it should be possible to find it as there must be more than one. A single sighting disproves the hypothesis that it's a question of an entire species.

Occam's razor would say the fewest new assumptions usually provides the correct one, and that the simplest explanation will be the most plausible until evidence is presented to prove it false. So with other sightings of Bigfoot there Occam says it's simply another Bigfoot.

The shape is too small and not bulky enough. The cubs and the tree is a give away right there, What ever that is, it is not much taller than the cubs.- its not a bear.
