any body can find the song of Jan Garbarek in which, starting with dog barking voice after that Azan (muslim prayer) sound. i m also trying to find out but could't find yet. thanks
the more I learn of Gabarek's talent, the more I want to know...at least I have learned that HE thinks internationally and without boundaries...(basing this of course on the artists he collaborates with on his works ) The video images also calm as well as the music - and I'd like to know also where 03:40 is - so perfect it looks like a painting
@seppito Since when are there "henges" in the USA ? Apart from which even that looks suspiciously like CGI rather than Stonehenge or whatever. Having said that the rest aren't exactly reminiscent of Northern Europe ;)
Amazing music!! there is another monster saxo player from Norway, Ole Mathisen, he plays with a band called Afromantra, they are amazing and Ole is outstanding! Go Norway!! Zoe.
I have a friend that almost not can write and when he speaks, you dont listen. But when he play music, everybody listen. no matter å ä ö. Thanks for music
@troelsnybo: Thanks for the correction. But you should be aware of that not everyone in the world are using the Norwegian type fonts with special characters. ;-)
Um, it's actually worse than that. It's not just about type fonts and special characters. It's a much larger problem that some alphabets contain letters which do not exist in other alphabets. An accented e is at least still an e, if you remove the accent. An å becomes a completely different letter if you remove the ring. There is no simple solution to the problem. In an international world we will all need to decide: Will we dumb foreign names and titles down, or will we strive for accuracy?

The vocalist is Agnes Buen Garnas, and this is a medieval Norwegian religious folk song (arranged by Garbarek).

@troelsnybo: We should strive to get and listen to great music like that. Everywhere in the world. That is the more important thing, I think.
