thats pretty cool. ive spray painted on glass before but havent tryed airbrushing it...yet. the tricky part is to make the image appear on the other side of the glas......when you do that you gotta do it all backwards whats last is first and first is last....you should give it a try. that way the paint wont chip or get scratched if people mess with it.

I love it! I must admit that I am disappointed that the final image was not intended to be viewed from the non painted side of the glass. Also would have liked to see the reverse side and also back-lit...please.

@Tinkiwinki541 But if you want to make a permenant template draw it on overhead paper (that clear plastic sheets) and cut it out on there. you'll be able to use it over and over

and if you had your experience with glass airbrushing then you know how difficult it is.

glass doesn't  take the color really good,you must take attention with air pressure and which colors you use.

@iisamiideviantartcom Get one side of the glass frosted(sandblasted). Paint sticks beautifully to frosted glass. Then paint your layers in reverse and clear. Then you flip it around and look through the glass at your project. Looks insane.

@iisamiideviantartcom Yap, not to mention how hard the color stays on it's place. Put some more and your done. But I could never ever use a stencil with glass. the paint just take too long to dry and even when you are sure that it has, once you put the stencil on .. well what do you know maybe it hasn't just jet and your done too. It's freaking terrible to airbrush on glass. I would like to know what paints was he using and how did they manage to not come off then he applies the stencil again.

Aero Color Professional...

it's from Schmincke...

normal airbrush color..nothing special...and no sandblast...just clean the glas with water and terpentin...

and do not use very much water in your color...
