  • @LimerickLad2008

and of course wen leinster and international teams cum to town!

  • Why do munster fans sing about a town in connacht?

  • Comment removed

  • Hoping we get Munster in the quarter final's this year, home or away make's no odd's to me. Top fans as are all Irish fans. Have to make do with Toulouse so can not complain, nice trip over there can not wait.

  • i was at that woo

  • Who one then ?

  • @LimerickLad2008 See you there tomorrow!!!

  • Stand Up And Fight Like Hell. Great line.

  • You know there was atime when molly malone was the song sung at all the ireland internationals. For years in fact, back when i was a kid. It wasnt until the cork-limerick band wagon hoppers decided that they were"Oirish by Birt, Munster by the grace o' God ye langer" that it was hijacked, by a song which incidently is about galway, you CUNTS!

  • Limerick has always been the biggest rugby city in this country. The feilds of Athenry is about Ireland in general not just about Galway you fucktard.Molly Mallone isn't as good a song anyway so get the fuck over it you whingin prick.

  • It's Molly Malone, one l, genius, and it dates back to the 18th century at least.

'The Fields' was set in Athenry, in the Province of Connacht, was written about five minutes ago, and was written by Pete St. John, who's Dublin through and through!!!

You don't have ANY songs, Munsterites!

  • @loopstheloop Then why do ye sing Allez le Bleus for fucks sake!!!!

  • @SpudsAndKimchi It's an ironic chant born in the 2006 away game in Toulouse. That's why.

  • @loopstheloop But the song is still French, so please think before you make stupid comments...

  • @SpudsAndKimchi But it's irony, mate... something which seems to have escaped you entirely... yet again ironically you complain about the stupidity of the comments of others... perhaps do a 3-month course on the concept?

Fact remains: Munster have no songs of their own.

  • @loopstheloop What's ironic, is that you complain of Munster not singing Munster songs, yet you ironically sing a French song. Perhaps you should do a 3 month course in French so you can rob more songs from them.

Fact remains: You are a quite the silly little chap...

  • @SpudsAndKimchi Mate, no offence, but you're simply not very bright, are you? No, you're not. Bless.

You'd have a great point if you tuber-snafflers had stolen a song written by a Dub set in a town in Galway ironically yourselves... you know, tongue in cheek, to make an amusing point.

However, it's apparent that you (singular and plural) don't have the wit for it.

  • @loopstheloop And you would have a great point if you hadn't borrowed a song with a language that is hardly spoken in this country.

Oh the irony is at a record breaking level at this stage, I'm getting a good laugh off you at this stage though. Cheers!

  • @SpudsAndKimchi Mate, you didn't understand what irony was until I slapped you round the head with it. Now you've googled it and you still don't get it. You might be missing a chromosome... which isn't unusual down your way!

ALB, ironic chant born on away trip to Toulouse, sung by both sides at the end. The Fields: by a Dub, about Connacht. No songs... no sense of humour... no understanding of irony... no clue!

Please, have yourself spayed for the sake of the human gene pool.

  • @loopstheloop You really are quite the retarded chap, but that's not your fault, must have been dropped on your head when you were wrong, and I sympathise with that. The point is you still sing Alles le Bleus, 5 years after that match, so stop trying to hide behind you 'irony' argument, because at this stage the most ironic thing is that everyone reading these comments can see that you're a little bit simple as you find it very hard to comprehend what I'm saying.

  • @loopstheloop Oh by the way, please don't be so much of a coward and a child by posting comments to my profile, while others can't leave comments on your page. It tells a lot of your character, i.e. coward, it's bad enough that we all know you're simple besides resorting to such things like that. I know a lot of Leinster fans and they're good lads, they don't resort to finding Munster videos and leaving, simpleton, juvenile comments. Don't worry there's medicine out there for you...

  • @SpudsAndKimchi Ha ha ha... no, really, you're a genius. You can tell by the way you respond to my comments above by repeating the content back at me. No songs, and minus a chromosome. Durrr. Go and snaffle a tuber.

  • @loopstheloop Well when compared to you it's easy to be seen as a genius, I have to repeat the content back to you as it hasn't entered your brain yet. But don't worry, you may be able to comprehend it in a few years when you might have evolved. I just thank the stars that the genuine Leinster fans (YES THE REAL LEINSTER FANS), who go to the matches and don't leave petty, juvenile comments on Munster pages aren't like you. Really, Munster have no songs, that's your argument? Sigh.....

  • @loopstheloop I also see that you're 31 years of age, and you're acting this way on YouTube!

I wouldn't be surprised, and I actually believe that you're still living at home with your parents

  • Nice guess... wrong, but still, let's see what I KNOW from above - you're also 31,&you fail to understand the concept of irony, thus you're low on the I.Q., probably had a poor education & therefore are dissatisfied with your life. Also, you initiated this discourse with a question (missing the ?, of course) ending in 'for fucks sake' [sic]... to be noted is you illiteracy, and also the fact that you IRONICALLY (regoogle it) then accuse others of behaving in a moronic fashion on the internet.

  • @loopstheloop Firts off: it's "*your* illiteracy", so it's really going beyond ironic in that you can't even use proper grammar. I understand irony, unfortunately you don't, neither do you get maturity, that's why at 31 years of age you're behaving like a teenager leaving juvenile comments on Munster videos. Also, I'll think you'll find that you initiated the whole thing by leaving the ultra intelligent "you have no songs' remark on this page.

  • @SpudsAndKimchi "Firts off: it's "*your* illiteracy", so it's really going beyond ironic in that you can't even use proper grammar." Mate, I didn't even read all of this, but I just saw it now... firts off? What's a firt? Yes, I was pointing out your illiteracy ahhhhh ha ha ha ha ha you retard... haaaaa ha ha No songs in Munster, but you've certainly got your fair share of mongs!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh ha ha ha

  • 'No songs in Munster' It's like a broken record player at this stage, round and round with the same argument, you definitely have the correct username, seriously are you proud of yourself at this stage of your life finding the time to post on Munster videos, while the real Leinster fans just go to matches and support their team? Oh sorry, you have no sex life because you're still living off mommy and daddy! By the way, what's "Ahhhhhhhhhh ha ha ha" the sound you make when looking for attention

  • Well, list all the songs you sing in Mun ster that are your own. Go on, bog-mong... let's be having them! If you need to use more than one comment box, you go right ahead!!! Ha! And let's not moronically mention mothers and fathers, because your neanderthal old folk don't quite deserve that... they've already had the burden of raising a mong-ape, so let's give them a break, eh? Now, Mr.Teeny, list away: (p.s. ahh ha ha ha you stupid twat ha ha)

  • There's no point discussing rugby with you, we all know that you're not a real rugby fan. You're just one of those bandwagon supporters who don't even go to matches and try to act tough on YT by coming up with childish insults, and yes, look back over your arguments, they are childish, are you not embarrassed yet?

By the way, why are you using the word twat? I thought it was only English people that used that word? sigh. Do us a favour and leave the real rugby fans comment, okay child?

  • @SpudsAndKimchi Ahhhhhh ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaa what happened to your list of Munster's own songs??? Predictably you couldn't manage it... (as I knew, two requests and you fold like Ronan O'Gara) so I leave you with the maxim which you have done so much to prove true:

In Munster they have no songs, but an abundance of mongs.

  • @loopstheloop Also, it's real shame you don't have to get permission from mammy and daddy to use the internet, maybe you will have to when they find out how you're behaving. Off to be now with you and make sure they tuck you in! LOL...

  • Athenry's in Galway, Athenry's in Galway da da da da....

  • Thanks for letting me find the second song. Couldn't find the name but got it here. The Fields Of Athenry is great. Im english but still love the crowd singing it at ireland games. Grand Slam winners and rightly so... this year ;)

  • cheers!!!

  • Hope Limerick is going to be a sea of Red on St Patricks day instead of green =) I know i will

  • Awesome crowd .... even though it looks pretty wet there! - hope it's nicer weather when the we come knock you out of the heineken cup ;)

  • Wales couldnt stop us ...

    Do you think ospreys will?

  • Lol. No. we're having a terrible season....

... but I live in hope.

(BTW well done on the Grandslam, good to see it being passed to another Celtic nation).

  • Lets play piggy in the middle with england as the pig :P

  • "hope it's nicer weather when the we come knock you out of the heineken cup"

god i bet ur eating those words now...what was the score again?? somethin embarresing i believe...good luck in the future and we wish tommy the best of luck over there 2!

  • Well... I'd have to agree.... the right team won.... and by a long, long way!

On that form, Munster would've beaten the all blacks though (and we'd have lost to portugal!).

Good luck in Dublin in May.

  • MIGHTY MUNSTER

  • GO MUNSTER!!

  • come on munster!!!

  • come on munster!!!!!!!!!!!

got soaking wet that night but didnt care.....

we were all singing "singing in the rain" after leamys try !!!!!!!!!

  • STAND UP AND FIGHT LIKE HELL!!! wooo im a south african rugby player who wants to play for the springboks one day... but i also wanna play for MUNSTER!!!

  • i love thomond parks atmosphere

  • i prefer stringer, him and rog even went to the same school, i just prefer his style, but with time rog and o'leary will click.

  • Josef Locke the great Irish Tenor used to sing "Stand Up and Fight".

The singers of the Fields of Athenry at the end sounds like the Wolfe Tones. The Fields of Athenry is about the Great Famine in Ireland(1845-1849) and was composed in the 1970s by Pete St. John.

  • who sings that song.

  • gangas2trigz it right... munster arent..their so determined and will power got them there..but u idiot..u have to watch stringer again..one of his main attributes is digging and giving perfectly timed ball to rog..watch it again he waits if its not needed quick

hes needed in the final, with his experience and he brings that extra little bit of flaie into the pack

  • nah peter stringer taks 2 long 2 pass from rucks and scrums.he didnt play dat well against glasgow.and o gara started kicking well der even when he went off.and if munster r playing badly den why r we in da heinicken cup final.think about it like

  • munster r playing terrible in my opinion i think we need peter stringer to play because if u look carefully o gara isnt kicking and passing very well i think we need him on if we wanna win hes the difference we need him!!!!

  • eh mate heineken cup winners??? great analysis of munster rugby.

  • munster for european champions!!

  • I Am Welsh and i was in Limrick the weekend

    on tour

  • People keep telling me there is a great rugby game on this weekend AND I met some Welsh fellows in Limerick today. Can someone please tell me what's happening?? I thought the next big game was at Kingsholm??

Seriously as long as our lads don't get injured for that excuse of a team led by a donkey and picked by GOD himself I don't mind as it gets them some match practice. Munster for the Heineken!!!

  • wait a second, i dont think you can claim to be the best at rugby, the bewt place to watch rugby maybe but best rugby team in the world, i think not.

  • dont worry bud, south africans get all our respect. we are talking about Munster v everyone else in Ireland and the Northern hemisphere!

  • best in europe? winning that ridiculously hard group don't make you the best in europe, soooo many captains have said heinekenn cup you need luck, and even donocha said if you played that group 3 times you would get 3 different winners, however if you keep winning the heineken cup say 3 times in 4 years you can claim that

  • go way you gowl, we'll cheer and chant for who we want.. and we wont have a south african dictatin!

  • im from limerick too and proud of it too wl b expecting to see you all at twickenham ill be outside with my face painting kit painting shamrocks on all of ye i hope ,cheers from noraxxxx

  • That game was my First ever Munster game...all i can say im proud to wear that jersey

  • Pity yez can't do it in green jerseys, lads. That's all I can say.

And is it true that Sky TV is planning a series called "Ross Kemp in Limerick"? :)

  • Thanks for your film, but why isn't one of your tags, "Wasps"?

  • i luv thomond park i live dwn de road frm it nd my dad nd my broder stil cnt gt tickets 4 it

  • I was there in black & gold. My first visit to Thomond Park. Great atomosphere. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up when the crowd started singing. Thanks for the experience Limerick... shame about the result. Good luck Munster Men & Women

  • I was there too

    Great day

Reminded me of being drenched at welford road last year and not giving a flying fiddlers....

  • Great atmosphere saturday, these little hip flasks are becoming the in thing at matches, sipping brandy and sharing in the crowd are becoming very trendy here.We don't do dublin 4 's in our supporters. SAD COMMENT marty molloy.SHAME ON YOU.

  • Ah poor Martymolloy ur gust sour cos that second rate team leinster did not make it out of the group stage and we got out of da hardest group even seen in da heineken cup

  • Most competitive group my ass. Llanelli had accepted elimination by the time you'd played them.

Clermont sent over their reserves to Thomond.

Leinster's group was WAY more competitive. Only one away win (Toulouse at Edinburgh) and that was within seven points. In a group that had the winners of four of the last five titles in it. Get over yerself.

  • so the best team in ireland (munster), the best team in france (clermont) and the heinkene cup champions isnt harder than a scottish team, and overated irish team toulouse who on the road arent usually up to much and overall a poor tigers team??

  • Clermont's B team? Llanelli who are 5th in the Magners and the second best team in Ireland this season (2nd in the Magners), sounds impossible!

  • Great Vid. MartyMolloy, you should take the snobbery elsewhere and keep in mind that 'Les Bleus' are France not Leinster.

  • Yeah but you've got to admit: "Gabh ar aghaidh na gormacha!" sounds a bit silly.

  • Ross kepp is not doing a T.V show in Limerick. However i hear that Sky sports r doing somthing about a great rugby team???

  • leinster fan eh? who are ye playin the the quater finals again?

  • another hair raising day in FOREVER known as THOMAND PARK......

  • I can see and hear thomand park from my house. impossible to get tickets anymore. Had to rely on sky sports to see a match happenin only a mile away from me haha

  • Cool. It was a very wet evening.

  • come on munster! heineken cup 2oo8!... one word .. PAY BACK!!....

  • those poor lads, what weather, what atmosphere, what crowds. I'd have loved to be there.

  • i was at this match great video
