Yay, finally got service star for Jets. Btw, ECM jammer is nice, but not always helpful. It DOES NOT STOP ACTIVE MISSILES. So I use Beam Scanner, ECM Jammer, and Heat Seekers, anything else is Gatling Gun Food.

I dunno if im just lagging real bad or not but for example, ill look onto somebody with heatseekers and after they deploy flares attempt to look on again, it begins to do so but randomly cuts out and restarts the lock on even though i remain same distance or closer from the enemy and keep them inside the lock on circle. is there a reason for this or do i just have a bad connection?

@FreddyOO11 The jet locks on the flares then restarts to lock on the enemy jet. Hope this helps :D

Extinguisher helps more than flares in the case of what you did a lot of in this video: Gatling Gun.

I use maintenance, extinguisher, and either Heat Seekers or Guided Missile. When I get hit by 2 missiles, I use extinguisher to bump me up to 37, and let maintenance heal me up faster. All I have to do is divebomb after the 2nd missile hits and I can fake a crash and they'll sometimes pull off.

@FrozenKing142 make a loop :L Otherwise you might brake and turn at the same time. Pro tip if you want to turn EVEN faster: go a little down/up. I always do this when i'm in a dogtag and someone is following me, or when we're going in circles.

I got rocket pods on the jet but I don't know how to use them , they seem pointless any strategies with them?

@okayipwn no, they're AMAZING!!!

You use it to take out ground troops, veichles etc. go from a highpoint, dive down and just spam the trigger on veichles. And in conquest i usually bomb flags and it always get me some kills.

Just turned of my PS3, and the last game i played i got 5 kills with the rocket pods :)

The best setup for me is Air Radar, IR and Rocket Pods. The guided missile sounds good but it's 100% crap unfortanuly :(

How do get the rockets pods on the jets?

You see i unlocked them in one match, and it said rocket pods will be mounted on the wings..so in the next match on a jet map, i spawned in a jet - den switched through weapons, n i couldnt see my rocket pod crosshairs? All i had were heat seekers n a machine gun ?

@WEZDEZ303 You have to equip them. When your on the spawn screen go into customise kits then air and then you can choose which Jet specs you want.

@WEZDEZ303 go into my soldier, and there you have to switch the weapon to the pods.

Remember that they are for ground targets, and not air targets.

i use fire extinguisher bc most of the time i can dodge the rockets.. when a rocket is following you; try to spin going downwards, ONLY DOWNWARDS (the rockets will pass through) , the other trick is to fly really low to the ground and then fly up (the rockets will hit the ground and not you). it will not work always, but thats why you got the extinguisher for.

The extinguisher is the must if you want to survive rockets. Flares are pretty much pointless IMO

@TheRedDash i find the pods to be way better, you can bomb flags when the enemies are capturing them, always works for me :)
