@ freestufflaw to increase the fps of a game, you'll need a graphics card!

The better, the more fps you'll get!

I reccomend nvidia gtx 460

I disagree about defragmenting the harddrive (HDD). Current versions of Windows e.g. Windows 7, can schedule the defrags. I.e. you can set Windows to regularly defrag the HDDs - once a month say - which keeps things running smoothly and your HDDs from working too hard.

Don't defrag too often as the defrag process itself wears the HDD, but don't leave it too long as an over fragmented HDD wears out more quickly. Once a month or maybe once a week on systems making a lot of file writes.

i really think its true , ive had to pc and i installed tuneup on both of em and it just screws it up when i defrag and tuneup makes it slower xc

and crt monitors are generally good for graphic artists as they display color a bit better than lcd.

but overall, i don't like the things that this guy suggests. you really should defrag your computer every so often, or after you've saved a massive amount of data to your computer.
